Visitors are pleasantly surprised to discover the beauty and tranquility found hiding in the valleys bordering the Etobicoke Creek, a short drive from downtown Toronto. Similar to traditional course layouts, walkability is forefront in the design as each green leads to the next tee on almost every hole.
An extremely walkable yet challenging design, along with exemplary course conditions are what makes Markland special. Recent tee renovations have recently achieved a length of over 6400 yards from our back tees for the longer hitter, but the scenic walk is there for all to enjoy. Your proximity to the first tee is a key factor in how many games you will play.

I'm not a golfer so I cannot comment on the golf, but the food at this place is delicious and the service impeccable. My husband and I got married here in 2016 and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. Extremely professional. The service was very attentive but without being bothersome. We offered a choice of salmon, steak or chicken for our guests and we were able to sample all 3 in advance...all 3 were amazing! Our guests raved about the warm apple crumble served for dessert.
