It may be possible to save a tooth whose root has become infected by performing a root canal treatment. Modern root canals are now relatively comfortable and pain-free and can help you keep your smile as natural as possible. Wisdom teeth typically erupt at around age 18-25; however, most wisdom teeth become impacted (don't erupt) or erupt crookedly, affection your health and the health of adjacent teeth.
Baby teeth are essential for the proper growth of the jaw bone and adult teeth, and as such, it's essential to properly care for baby teeth to ensure that they remain healthy. Typically, your child should first start seeing a dentist at the age of 1 or when their first tooth comes in. We can show you what you can do to keep your child's teeth in great shape and answer any questions you might have with regards to your child's teeth.
Modern digital X-Rays use up to 80% less radiation than traditional, film-based X-Rays and are environmentally friendly as well. X-Rays help your dentist evaluate the health of your gums and jaw bone as well as any potential issues that may be hard to detect with the naked eye, such as impacted wisdom teeth and cavities.
If your teeth require additional support after a cavity filling, a crown or a cap can improve the strength of your smile and restore your bite ability. If you're missing a tooth, a bridge can connect a false tooth to adjacent teeth and save your smile from issues in the future such as misalignment, gum recession and bone loss.

Immaculate care and attention. Dr. Grossi and his staff are great! There are two TVs for every dentist chair one in front and one on the ceiling and there is always great movies playing. I never thought I'd say this but I look forward to my future appointments. I've had 3 cavities filled and they did a great job. Highly recommended if you are looking for a dentist on the north shore.
