Chapter1 Daycare is now open for commencement all ages (13 months to 6 years) at both our locations - Chinatown, Royal Oak NW. It can be challenging sometimes to fit in time to exercise when you're busy chasing a toddler around (although, that counts for exercise, right?). In order to make it easier to fit exercise into your busy schedule, consider bringing your little one along for the ride!

My son has gone to chapter 1 for 4 years now (He’s just about to transition to kindergarten). Chapter 1 has been so supportive to me as a solo parent, when I lost my job, through the ups and downs of having a very active, never stopping, competitive son, and throughout covid. He has always liked his ‘teachers’ and he has learned so much (including a bit of Spanish, French and sign language). I highly recommend this daycare and don’t think that you will be disappointed.

Chapter1 Daycare has been a great daycare for both my kids. As a teacher, I have been impressed with the education and socialization programming they have implemented. Not only are my kids excited to attend every morning, I am confident that they will both be more than ready for Kindergarten when ready to attend.

My kids have been attending this daycare for more than two years now, and I can’t express how much they LOVE it! This place is everything a parent is looking for, it’s clean, organized and the staff is incredibly amazing and cheerful. Abi the manager is an extraordinary person, she helped me with every concern I had from speech problems to potty training to sleeping routines. She’s a true goddess.

Both of our kids have been at Chapter 1 since they started daycare - 4 years now for our oldest. The staff have been attentive, kind and reliable and their response to COVID has been top-notch, allowing our kids to consistently attend. It has been great to watch them develop and learn at Chapter 1 and both will be sad to leave their friends and caregivers when entering school. Highly recommend!

When we first put our daughter into the daycare on the form we noted that she can not have any dairy at all. The daycare failed multiple times of not giving our daughter dairy free food. Abi the manager told us that our daughter “had medical concerns that remained undiagnosed and the source is undetermined” even though we went to our family doctor… and as well as a allergy specialist and got told our daughter is allergic to dairy products. They give you a daily report card of what your kid ate that day, and there were multiple times where she has food with dairy in it, and the

I highly recommend Chapter1 Daycare to families who care about their children's development and care. Both my kids went to Chapter1 and we had a great experience with this daycare. Amazing teachers, lovely program manager and great program. My kids learned a lot and were always happy to go. When you drop off your kid in the morning, you know he or she will be in great hands. Fantastic daycare, highly recommend !

My daughter loves Chapter 1 so much. You know you've picked a good daycare, when your kid is asking to go on weekends. Chapter1 have a great setup, agenda, and amazing staff. I know that when I leave my daughter there in the morning, that she will be well cared for, learn so much and have so much fun with the teachers and her wee friends. Highly recommend Chapter1.

My daughter loves to go to Chapter 1 a lot; the teachers were very caring but also focused on her learning development. Not only she had fun doing many interesting crafts but also got to spend time to play outside.
Everyone at Chapter 1 took very good care of her. I can tell that she has learnt a lot in the past year and a half and she will definitely misses the teachers and her friends. I highly recommend Chapter 1.

I strongly recommend Chapter 1 Daycare for the professional staff and excellent management. My family has an exceedingly positive experience with this program. My children have been welcomed in when we moved here from the Middle East for work and they have thrived in Canada in large part because of the things that they have learned at Chapter 1. Thank you for the positive early education experience my children have had and we will miss this school greatly when we leave on our next assignment.
