Services
We offer FREE consultations and work on a contingency fee basis for personal injury matters, which means that we're paid when you collect. When you are involved in an accident, it is a stressful and emotional time and you need someone who can help you from being overwhelmed by the many different matters that may arise.
The Stevenson Doell difference is our people. We are friendly, experienced, and approachable. We are real people who are here to speak with you on the phone or in person. Our phone calls are answered by our live receptionist, not a recording, and we encourage people to pop in during our office hours to see us.

I consulted with Julie Ough in relation to a cohabitation agreement. She provided exceptional services, both in the depth of her knowledge and her personable demeanor. I would highly recommend her to anyone who requires a family law lawyer. Thank you, Julie!

I couldn't be happier with my recent experience with Declan Midwood. I just went through an extremely complicated separation involving multiple high dollar assets and international monies. Declan was direct and to the point, very clear with instructions and expectations. He is confident and knowledgable in his position and does not back down under pressure. In the end when push came to shove he delivered a signed separation in under 24 hours. I'm very happy with my settlement, and he wrapped up in less than 6 months a separation that my previous lawyer, who is top rated in Victoria, could not do

I hired Mary McManus and I so much regret my decision. She provided a below mediocre service and much to my dismay charged me as if there is no tomorrow. This company is not at all honest with their billing. Not only Mary McManus herself provided a horrible service, she referred me to Kathleen Bellamano to prepare the Hear the Child report. Ms. Bellamano took a painful three months to prepare the report and turned out to be highly unprofessional who wont even answer when the report will come out. This resulted in many decisions being taken without the report as no one had a clue when the report

Hiring Mary McManus was the worst decision I have ever made in my life. I do not believe that she acted in my best interest at any point. Not only did she encourage and allow me to perjure myself to finalize her bad deal, she showed a complete lack of empathy towards my situation from the very beginning.
