Emergency Dentistry - If you have a dental emergency, call us at 604-922-0144 and we will usually be able to see you on the same day. If it is outside of office hours, you can reach Dr. Tina on her mobile phone at 778-875-6032. Hygiene & Preventative Care - For patients who need a crown or bridge, Dr Tina and Dr. Seddon will remove some of the enamel from the appropriate teeth and take an impression of your mouth.
At Dundarave Dental, we have a fantastic team of Dental Hygienists that strive to provide you with the highest level of oral health care. A regular dental hygiene schedule will ensure you stay on top of your oral health and minimize the need for restorative treatments including fillings, root canals, etc.
White fillings are commonly referred to as Dental Composite Resins - or Composites. They are a resin-based tooth colored filling material composed of plastic and glass materials. For those of you concerned about the effects of BPA, you will be happy to learn that most composite materials today are comprised of Bis-GMA and other dimethacrylate monimers, fillers like silicates, and a photo initiator.
