We are a highly skilled and caring team of dedicated dental professionals, providing you with the best standard of dental care in West Vancouver. Our office is a joint venture dental clinic, primarily run by Dr. Sherkat and Dr. Ansari. It is located in the heart of West Vancouver's core district near the Ambleside Park, a place for sightseeing and gathering for residents across Vancouver's Lower Mainland.

A filling is a restoration that repairs part of a damaged tooth. When modern composite or ceramic materials are combined with precision techniques, fillings can fit and fill most types of cavities without removing large amounts of healthy enamel. And they can be color-matched to look completely natural.
A premiminary study suggests that the incidence of periodontal disease, the most advanced form of gum disease, may be 2-3 times higher than previous estimates. We find this very disturbing because only about 3% of those afflicted with gum disease seek treatment for it. Why so few?

In our distant past the human diet was very different and required a robust posterior grinding surface that was housed in a significantly larger jaw. The third molars or wisdom teeth, provided that estra grinding capacity. Modern man, however, developed a much more refined diet; one that requires a more streamlined and less significant jaw.

Great quick service the dental hygienists are very welcoming and caring. The receptionist is very knowledgeable and top notch, shes awesome with scheduling and booking very accommodating with my busy schedule. Highly recommend if your looking for an exceptional dentist for you and your family!

Eeeeek! The dentist. I hate the dentist, especially since I have an allergy that prevents me from being properly medicated. The initial experience here was great, the receptionist is nice, so is the hygienist. Dr. Sherkat is a really soft-spoken, gentle guy, and he even calls to check up on clients after their procedures (both myself and my partner had work done here). Oddly enough, I had a root canal that went really well, totally pain-free, but my fillings were another story... Ouch! Maybe my mouth wasn't frozen enough.
