This family owned business is very friendly, helpful and professional. I have been going Custom Eyes since last 7 years. ALI is very friendly and knowledgeable about glasses, and the optometrist (I believe his brother) is professional. The best thing of this location is Ali does minor repair of glasses free of cost. Back in 2015, when Ali fixed minor problem in my Ray Ban sunglass, I was so surprised as he didn’t charge any amount. Since then I keep going there. They have variety of options in prescribed eyeglasses and sunglasses as well, and price wise they are cheaper too.

'Ali' thanks for all your help and excellent service. It did take awhile for my lens to come in from Calgary, darn special orders, but at the end of the day it had nothing to do with this great place. I used to go here back when I lived across from custom eyes. I actually got my last 3 pairs of glasses at this eyeclinic same with my boyfriend he got the last 3 pairs there as well. I'd go back but I'm never over there anymore. I didn't like how they don't give you a cleaning cloth and spray with it for free like other clinics ive been to like Rosslyn and or total focus in Northgate mall.

Just happened to see it on my way to the police station and thought I'd give it a try. Nice family owned business, the main guy definitely knows what he's talking about which is always beneficial. Good price for an eye exam and had some nice higher end glasses that you he brought from the back. Appreciate the time he took to make sure they were the perfectly made for my eyes.

Well it’s been two years since I’ve visited Custom eyes and I am still please to say that the customer service was once again amazing! I am so happy I found this hidden gem and would still highly recommend anyone in the market for new glasses or requiring an eye exam to visit this place. They were able to get me in for an eye exam and fit me for new glasses super fast. I love their no pressure attitude and one and on one help from the staff.

I've been going 2 this place 2 get my prescription glasses since it first opened and they've been good 2 me except for other places that I've been 2 they give you free eyeglasses cleaning spray when you get a new pair of glasses along with a case and eyeglass cleaning cloth. They want you 2 pay for it at this location and the section they have for people who are on assistance or Indian affairs isn't as big as other places I've been to. But they're really nice people and doesn't take long 4 your glasses 2 be ready.

Friendly staff and amazing customer service. Got a pair of shades from ali and I'm more than happy with them. The return time after I did my eye exam was quick and professional and they turned out better than my expectations. Even got an amazing discount I literally couldn't find anywhere else! I’ve had great experiences with Customeyes. The staff are always so pleasant and accommodating. They were able to put a
rush on my glasses even though it was the holiday season. Dr. Tarrabain is so thorough and actually cares about his patients. He takes the time and properly assess myself and my siblings. This place is awesome!

Unfortunately I can't say I've had the experience that the rest of the reviews are raving about. Better hope the Dr. takes you seriously and doesn't make a mistake, otherwise his ego won't allow an apology and they are reluctant to refund for their own faults. I would recommend a different optician, who would be more willing to work with their patients/customers and is not inclined to rush into a solution for their own gain.

I came across this shop a while ago on Instagram. They were always posting that they have sales on designer eyewear, so it's always been on the back of mind to check them out. I found a pair of sunglasses I liked at Holt Renfrew. So I figured I'd call Custom Eyes to see if they had them, and what price they are selling them for. The guy on the phone was happy to look for me, and confirmed that yes, they did have them. They sell them for $90 more than Holt, but he told me if I came for them that day, he'd knock off $100. I took my mother in law here for an eye exam and glasses. The staff speaks Arabic and patiently went through her exam. She is illiterate and only speaks Arabic so finding the right prescription has proven to be impossible over the years. She would be frustrated with the resulting glasses and revert back to over the counter reading glasses and incorrectly use them for distance vision. When we came here she was happy with the resulting glasses with the exception of the bifocal element.
