Located in the rolling hills of Tottenham, Woodington Lake is a highly respected semi-private 36 hole golf facility ranked as one of Ontario's finest. The Legend Course was completed in 1995 and opened to rave reviews. The 32,000 square foot clubhouse followed in 1999, with exquisite facilities for dining, tournaments, banquets, weddings, private boardroom meetings and other social functions.
Opening in 1995, our original course, The Legend, has quickly become a favorite among golfing enthusiasts. Built on over 200 acres of rolling terrain, carved from towering pine forest and lush natural environmental beauty, this course ranges from 5255 yards for the ladies to over 7000 yards from the championship tees.
Dramatically different from the Traditional Legend course, this is a fresh, fun and exciting take on the game of golf. However, it's the course's water hazards that can make it truly challenging. Complimented by huge, fast and undulating greens, the Legacy offers five sets of tee decks measuring from 5140 yards from the front tees to an eye opening 7606 yards from the championship tees.
It is our pleasure to invite you to host your special event with us at Woodington Lake Golf Club. It is our goal to execute every detail of your event with professionalism to ensure a successful and unforgettable experience. From impactful corporate events, to "The Perfect Wedding", let your special day become a reality at Woodington Lake.
Woodington Lake Golf Club has quickly gained a reputation as the premier golf course in the region to host your Corporate, Charity or Association Event. Our attention to detail, our friendly staff and our overall commitment to excellence will ensure a perfect day for you and your guests. Why choose Woodington Lake over the countless other golf courses in the greater Toronto region?

Woodington lakes home of the Ontario open, what can you say? We played the legends course, well first off it happened to feel more like the British open by the end of the round. We knew there was a chance of rain but it ended up being pretty steady that by the back nine our hats would drip water when looking down to putt!
So let me start by saying the drainage on the course is very good. We didn’t encounter much pooling until very late in the round and never had problems of drives having your ball stick into the ground like a meteorite.
Very beautiful and mature course, it has it’s fair amount

Very beautiful golf course. My fiancé and I played the Legacy course. There isn’t a lot of signage on the course so it can be somewhat confusing but we figured it out. It is also a newer course so that is likely why there aren’t many signs yet. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back and would highly recommend this course.

This course is in very good condition. I have only played the Legend, however, I find it very difficult to play. Played yesterday in heavy rains so the golfing experience wasn't enjoyable and when it is cart path only a round can take really long. The restaurant is great and the Goomba Burger is definitely worth a try.

Course conditions were very good and it is worth the amount paid for the green fee, however only "The Rock" in Muskoka has more impossible shot requirements than some of these holes.
18 from the whites, requires a drive of 265 yards to a mere sliver of an already thin fairway to even view the green. You then must hit a 15 to 20 yard deep compartmentalized water surrounded peninsula green. Faldo would be proud of you for designing this hole!

The other review should be disregarded because:
1. He went to Banty's Roost after which is a garbage dump of a course (I'd rather tee off in my backyard than there)
2. The review doesn't mention anything about the course
3. He's upset because he paid for a deal (which are in most cases non-refundable and play at your own risk) and it didn't work out
Check out the reviews on Golf Advisor or Golf Now for real feedback. I'd leave a review here myself but I just came here to rip on the other guy. (FYI - I've played here twice in 2017 and once in 2016 and this place

Not impressed. Long time patron, We came here this time on an underpar deal, but were pushed off the course on the 12th hole by thunderstorms in the immediate area. After looking at a favorable forecast, we decided to head back to the clubhouse for lunch and wait it out. Sure enough, the skies cleared out but unfortunately the pro told us that the owner has closed the course. It was perfectly clear and sunny at the time. Okay, if you want to close the course, at least offer us a rain check or something. Can't help but feel a little short changed. We went to Banty's Roost instead.
