In the late summer of 1978, Mayfield opened its first 6 holes. We humbly began with open fairways and trees sparsely scattered over the terrain. What stood out then is still our pride: our greens are always receptive. By the fall of 1979, our first 9 holes were completed, and by the summer of 1986 we were ready to open our 18-hole course.
We vividly remember the day we opened the completed course. Gordie stood proudly on the front steps of the clubhouse, as much as to say he had accomplished his dream. The picture on our scorecard recreates that moment in time. If you look closely at the front rail, when you visit our clubhouse, you will see the years of wear from Gordie's arm.

Mayfield offers three unique courses that provide distinct golfing experiences and a variety of challenges for every level of golfer. When the wind picks up, the courses really show their teeth and require creative shot making to post a good score. A challenging opening hole with out-of-bounds down the left-hand side on this long par 3. Make sure to take an extra club as the hole plays slightly uphill.
Mayfield Golf Club consists of three distinct 9-hole courses. 18-hole rounds vary between the nines with play being rotated by the pro shop. Unfortunately due to the high volume of rounds, we are not able to accommodate requests for which courses you will play. For more information, please consult the pro shop when you book your round.
Did you know that the golf course maintenance staff completes most of the work preparing the course well before you play? Did you know that our facility has 171 acres dedicated to your golfing experience? Our Golf course has 27 holes, 30 greens, dozens of bunkers, a few kilometers of cart paths and many other features.
Why do most golf courses only offer memberships-mainly when most people cannot afford the time and money to justify the expense? Even worse, those courses that sell small quantity green fee packages attach a long list of restrictions, blackouts and hidden fees. How often have you seen a $25 18 hole green fee that requires a $30 cart?
Over the course of the last seven years, PlayerPass has helped us encourage more people to play golf. We recognized the value of small packages of Passes. Our strategy is to offer affordable Passes without having to make a large commitment. Each September, we release a limited quantity of the PlayerPasses to our current Pass Holders.
