Team Report

Patsy grew up on a mixed farm on Howe Island with her 12 sisters and brothers. The farm raised 60 dairy cows, 80 beef cows, 400 sheep, 22 horses and ponies as well as chickens, geese, ducks and Border Collie sheep dogs. Jocelyn graduated high school in 2016 and has worked in clinics since. She has a Pre-Health certificate from Sheridan College and is now at St. Lawrence college in the Veterinary Technology program where she will graduate in 2021.

Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. Everyone at this place is amazing. We are new clients and are beyond happy with Dr. Lane and his team. I booked my three pets in together, and against my better judgment, had my two screaming children with me. Dr. Lane and his team wrangled up my animals with smiles. They took them in and brought them out to me. They came out to my car and asked me prior to doing anything. Their fees are so very reasonable. Recently, our dog had an ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics. The clinic emailed us around the end date of his antibiotics just to check in and ask how he was doing. They are so good

We recently moved to just north of Sydenham, and when I called Sydenham Veterinary, they said they are not taking new clients. I have 2 rescue dogs, both special needs who might need immediate care. One of them has severe epilepsy. Lane Veterinary accepted us. We got an appointment in a timely manner, and Dr. Lane was very thorough and helpful. The staff were very kind and attentive, too! We are grateful!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Lane and his staff. I am always so impressed with how confidently he handles my 70lb bulldozer of a dog and treats him with so much kindness and care. Our puppy got stung by a bee and started having a bad allergic reaction; swelling up and breaking out in itchy hives all over his body. We phoned a bunch of "emergency vets" but couldn't find one that would take us on such short notice... AKA an actual emergency. Lane Veterinary Services was kind enough to see us right away even though we hadn't been a previous client. We are very grateful for their compassion and accommodating professionalism. They really helped us out.

After several bad experiences with a local vet we switched to Lane Vet services. The service is like night and day from previous clinic.
The staff at Lane always get my dogs an appt in a timely fashion and everyone is great from the time we get there until the time we leave. Even the small things like appt reminders by text, follow up inquiries and discounts for referrals. So nice to finally find a vet I trust :)

For the past 20 years we have relied on Dr. Lane to care for our dogs and cats. He has a warm and caring presence and always follows up post treatment with a phone call. That personal touch is hard to find. Our one dog is now 17 and thankfully has not had a lot of health issues but Dr. Lane has always made her feel calm and relaxed at her visits. Highly recommend ❤️

Lane Veterinary are the best. We have a rescue farm that sometimes needs urgent care. Lane Vet has always been there for us when we needed them most. They provide us with great care to our animals and are very responsive to our needs. Most times we need care right at the farm but have always be accommodating when we needed extra medicine, advise and appointments in either their office or on site. We highly recommend Lane Veterinary Service. Calvin Lane came over to help us put my wife’s dog to rest. Very professional no rushing very calm very helpful it’s always a difficult decision to make but with Lanes they came to our house where our dog was calm.
