Matisse Day Spa

Partner and I went for a sports massage the other day. We are active people so we both decided to get their sports massage. Thought this would be more so focused on relaxing the over worked problem areas and they did ask what our main complaints where but we wherent expecting them not to actually listen to what we said. I mentioned low back and neck while my partner said his low back and shoulders. I recieved a very nice full body rub but the young guy seemed nervous and shaking was focusing on arms n legs, felt a bit rushed when it came to my needs. They weren't listened to and I left with a spasaming

Loved it. We sadly did not arrive 15min early to fill out the info paper but the ladies were very nice and even made sure we had a joining rooms. We left there feeling very rejuvenated and yet ready for a nap! Thank you so much!

This is a beautiful, high end salon, employing highly experienced professional staff. I am a former registered nurse, so professionalism and cleanliness are really important to me. I feel 100% confident that I will get the best possible skin care here. The aestheticians not only do amazing facials, but know intuitively what is causing the skin flare ups, therefore are looking at the patient holistically as well. Luxurious setting.

Dropped my client off there to get her nails done. Pretty in pink. They are a wonderful salon. Do a bit of everything. Right downtown Duncan friendly staff. Protocol in their establishment during civud they are still open limited people inside.

Booked a self care day with a gift certificate from my husband and went in for the service to be told they would be modifying the service. I left and won’t go back. Very disappointed. I never get time to myself and this took a lot of planning only to not happen. No apologies either, Infact they said nothing as I left. I’ll sell the gift certificate… to someone else.
After seeing this post the owner reached out to me to try to justify their discussion. Great! I respect it. This creeped me out because she messaged me on Facebook and it was not wanted.

Went in for a couples massage yesterday with the expectation of a one hour couples massage as well as a one hour lesson. Spent and hour massaging each other and NEVER got a massage only a lesson. When it VERY clearly says a massage each with a lesson. I called and complained and I was told I shouldn’t have expected a massage and I was wrong. “Take… care of each other. Hands-on training with one of our professional therapist AND Expect to receive a one hour massage each. And a take home massage oil.” AND DID NOT WEAR A MASK DURING THE WHOLE MASSGE! Very disappointed and

We got the couples lesson/massage for Christmas. It was amazing. We were made to feel very comfortable and given very personalized tips for our specific issues and limitations. We felt very happy and relaxed at the end of our session. Thank you!
