In September of 1981, after 10 years as a bench jeweller, Ronald Huxley stepped out on his own and opened the doors to RG Huxley Jewellers Ltd. in London Ontario.
RG Huxley Jewellers is a family business. It was 1981 when Ron Huxley opened the doors to RG Huxley Jewellers Ltd. In 1989 Ron's wife Debbie joined the team as they expanded the business and had opened up an extension with a showroom and studio for private consultations. Later, in 2004, Ron's daughter Tracy sat down at the bench and became Ron's next apprentice.
Bench Jewellers and Goldsmiths today are still using the same techniques that have been used for centuries around the world. A fine goldsmith can and will work to a tolerance approaching that of precision machinery, but largely using only his or her eyes and hand tools.

R.G. Huxley is a family owned jewelry store that my family has used since the '80s. Ron was recommended to me by my mom when I was engagement ring shopping. I recently had a virtual consultation for an engagement ring design and they couldnt have designed a better ring if they tried. The virtual consultation was informative and Ron and Tracy did an excellent job steering me in the right direction. I would highly recommend them.

Got my white gold ring resized here. It is not circular and they left it GOLD. They do not do rhodium plating and refused to do so. You could see a clear line where the white gold transitioned to the natural gold. I went back twice, both times they cleaned the ring and said that's all they could do. The couple gets quite upset when you ask to rhodium plate. I understand it covers the natural gold, but if I wanted a gold ring, I would have bought a gold ring!!!! Had to go to another jeweller to fix... Would not recommend this place for WHITE gold brides. I also went to another jeweller and they

I have been using R.G. Huxley Jewelers for quite some time. This is a great family owned store. Yesterday, the owner's wife came by and fixed a little charm that had come off the bracelet my daughter gave to me some years ago. Not anything of value except sentimentally. I am a bit challenged mobility wise. She offered to do this for me out of the kindness of her heart and it was such a kindness to me because of the terrible weather we have been having. Whenever I go in there everyone is always very welcoming and warm and friendly. Highly recommend. Great service and good value for the money.

This is a family owned business well worth supporting; the owners are friendly and knowledgable. The atmosphere feels genuine and welcoming; it makes you feel good doing business with them.
I brought in a strand of pearls for restringing (they send them out) and was told they'd be ready before the weekend. On Friday morning, I received a phone call letting me know the pearls were ready for pick-up. In addition, without hesitation they answered questions regarding the pearls; when I went to another jeweller prior to visiting R G Huxley, I couldn't get any information from them unless I paid $70
