This is a place where children can find the nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment all parents are looking for. We are located in the same building as Montrose Public School and Delta Alternative School and enjoy wonderful family atmosphere ranging from our tiny babies to the big kids getting ready for the adventures life will bring.
Our highly qualified teachers take pride in providing an enriched program tailored specifically to each age group. We have our own chef who prepares nutritious, primarily vegetarian and delicious fresh food every day. But most importantly, the children take centre stage at Montrose, and there is no end to the love and attention they receive every day from all our staff.

Services
Up to ten infants are the beneficiaries of four dedicated and caring staff. The babies enjoy a large, bright room with a separate sleeping area to allow individual napping times, and a play space with soft mattress flooring to encourage safe crawling explorations. Weather permitting, the babies are taken out twice daily for walks in the neighbourhood.
2. When spaces become available in our centre, we place children from the community in those spaces based on the needs of the centre (to have an appropriate balance of ages in each room at all times), so spaces are not always filled on a 1st come, 1st served basis. 3. Applications will be removed from our waiting list after six months if no contact (telephone calls, visits to the centre etc.) has been made between the applicant and Montrose.
We provide a philosophy that includes a warm, safe environment that will support and complement the care that your child receives at home. We strongly believe that on-going communication between our staff and parents is the key to our strong home/child care partnership. Parents are primarily responsible for the care and education of their children, but while at Montrose, part of this responsibility is shared with our child care staff.
Up to 15 toddlers keep three staff members on their toes all the time in our toddler room. Separate areas for climbing, sensory play, snacks, outdoor play, or just cuddling with a book are all available. Tekesha graduated from George Brown College in 1998. She has been in the field for 16 years, 15 of which have been with Montrose.
We offer a before and after care kindergarten program. Daycare children are escorted to and from kindergarten by our staff. We have a good relationship with the school and we continuously work to ensure that the channels of communication are open. A Freedom of Information Waiver/Consent Form will be given to all kindergarten parents so that school and daycare staff can communicate about the children's physical, emotional, and social development.

My elementary school. Although I didn't have any friends because it was a super small school and I never fit in. Its very great school as well as the child care centre. The staff/teachers are great and they also have an HSP (home school program) there which saved my life. Basically its for kids who have a learning difference. There is a middle school in that building named Delta as well, I've heard its not good though. Overall a pretty good school, if your child has a hard time making friends, maybe move them to a bigger school because they likely may not make any! (:
