Our story begins in September of 1945 on Toronto's Danforth Avenue. Sixteen-year-old Gordon Edwards Senior was searching for a shop on the Danforth to advertise his radio repair services. Kindly, watch repair shop owner, Llewellynn Davies, invited him in to advertise in his shop. Together they built a partnership that would last for 60 years and a passion for jewellery and customer service that has continued since 1945.

Absolute perfection!! I recently had a custom ring created by Edwards and Davies, which exceeded my expectations. With the help of Adam and Laura (who is a true gem), I was able to see my ring from a mere concept through to completion. It is a work of art!! After searching jewellery stores for a few years, I happened upon Edwards and Davies. Without question, they are the most knowledgeable, honest and kind team, and completely without any pretense. I would highly recommend this family-owned business. Their work is impeccable!!

My husband and I went in today to purchase an updated wedding band. Laura and Adam (the grandson of one of the original owners) were so helpful and friendly. Buying jewellery can often be incredibly intimidating and they made the process straight forward and easy to ask questions. It's so important that you feel like you can trust the jeweler you're working with and I felt that trust in the short visit we had there. Looking forward to our new ring, and having a great jeweller in the neighbourhood!

As always, they exceeded our expectations - found a bracelet and made earrings to match! She was overwhelmed and is so excited to have such special pieces to wear on her wedding day! Gord was the very first person we spoke to upon arriving to Edwards And Davies - and he was truly so helpful. A very down to earth individual who never once hesitated to explain and educate us on the whole ring shopping process. Next we dealt with Laura. I contacted Edwards and Davies after reading some reviews to help me with a wedding present for my Fiance at the time as well as his siblings. His mother had given me her old wedding bands to use as i pleased and I wanted to do something special for the 3 of them. Laura was fantastic at helping me walk through my idea, doing estimates and sending me visuals to approve before moving forward. Everyone was blown away by the end product was vs the rings they started out as and I know that they will be cherished for generations to come.

I had a wonderful experience ordering my wedding band through Edwards & Davies. I live in Vancouver, and was having a very hard time finding a ring that fit my vision. E&D had the perfect ring, and further gave me the options to customize and make the ring exactly what I had envisioned. Despite corresponding long distance over email, they were extremely helpful and communicative, even sending me photos of the finished product for me to approve before shipping it to me.
