Papilio delivers in every way!! This was a nerve-wracking purchase, to choose a store in another country and during COVID, when so many things can go wrong and you have no way of checking out who you are dealing with and of course your wedding dress has to be perfect. Once I ordered, it took months to fill, which I expected, but can be nerve-wracking. The dress came in sooner than expected with plenty of time to be fitted. I had seen one reviewer who was "dissatisfied with the quality". I went ahead and purchased anyway because these dresses are so reasonably priced compared to what is out there

2 days ago I decided to start searching for my wedding dress and Papilio was the first boutique that I booked that day. I went to other boutiques as well, but I ended up comparing those dresses with the first dress I tried at Papilio and thats it! Within 3 hours I knew this dress is the one and in a day I bought it.

Professional, comfortable vibe, and an awesome experience. Loving European designs, I found this boutique online and booked an appointment to see dresses that I liked. Surprisingly none of the dresses I picked looked nice on me and the salesperson (Dalia) was very honest about it. Most boutiques wouldn't be honest as they would like to sell more expensive dresses. So she booked me in for the second time once she knew what styles I like and what works best with my body shape. This is the best bridal boutique! I can’t say enough good things. It was the third boutique that I went to in search for my dress. The dresses are so reasonably priced. They have very unique dresses and are so gorgeous. I researched online prior to booking an appointment so I got a very good idea of the selection. Not all the dresses are in the store but you can order them online. The selection they have in store is great! Erika helped me with my initial appointment and was so cute and friendly. The dresses at Papilio are by far the most exquisite I have seen anywhere! I went to several boutiques on my hunt for a dress and nothing compared to what I saw at Papilio. Not only are their dresses beautiful but they are also comfortable! It's so important to be able to move freely on your wedding day, and each dress I tried at Papilio was soft and light. Had a great time visiting Papilio. This was my very first wedding dress appointment and it was fab! I ended up coming back a few weeks later to purchase my wedding dress here. The staff were organized, clear, kind and attentive, I loved being the only one in the store for the appointment. The dresses are well made and beautiful but can be a bit pricey depending on what you get. I ended up purchasing an evening dress in ivory and I can't wait for it to come in and get my final fittings!

Did not have a pleasant experience here. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment. They told me to wait outside even though there was no one else in the store. Two ladies helped me. The tall blond lady was friendly and kind. The other lady, petite and has an accent, was rude and rushed my appointment. She let me try on 4-5 dresses then stopped and tried to push me to buy a really cheap dress on clearance. She was impatient and never smiled once. I ordered a dress from them for a fancy wedding. Paid 1200$ and ended up with a dress that looks so cheap. They make you pay for alterations (although to be fair they do mention it in the contract). The total in the end was 1500$ for a dress I will never wear. They have rude staff too to make it an even more painful experience - they act as if the dress looks fine while it needs so many adjustments.

I was very happy with my unique and fantastic dress from this place. It was nothing like anything I tried on at any other store, and I received so many compliments on it. And it was so comfortable! Daria was very helpful and kind, and when the first alteration wasn't exactly perfect, she had it altered again within the initially quoted cost. I loved the unique styles available at Papilio, as they really stand out from the cookie cutter dresses found at most other boutiques.

They made it so easy for me to choose my wedding dress. Their selection is beautiful. They were always kind to me and very attentive and even helped me with the shipping because I only had 4-5 months to plan the wedding, and there was not enough time for my dress to arrive, but they used their magic and made sure I got it on time and it was perfect. If you follow their rules and pay attention to what their emails say, you’ll have a great experience.

My Fiancé had a dreadful experience. The ignorant staff allowed others to interrupt her appointment multiple times... they only had 1 collection of dresses to look at (mediocre at best), and they only had size 0 to try on, in today’s “real” world not every woman is a size 0 SHAME ON YOU even suggesting Spanx at one point....She left very upset, a poor representation of what you consider a “special experience”. I suggest you look at yourselves and reflect on how you make others feel by being unprepared to offer a better experience to women.

Based on the reviews, I was very excited to go to Papilio. Its always nice to support Canadian designers. However, I found the selection really mediocre. They did not have the style I was looking for and I felt very rushed with my appointment as there was another lady right after me that was in for a fitting (?). I guess she bought something vs. I was still deciding. Also there is very little parking in the area.

The moment the I stepped into Papilio and the stylist smiled at me, I knew it was going to be a pleasant bridal shopping experience. Indeed, the lady who helped me was absolutely attentive and helpful. She gave excellent advice and made me feel like a beautiful bride.
I showed up with a lookbook that I've compiled using the photos on their site and she knew instantly which dresses from my lookbook they currently have in store. Impressive!

Loved every second of my appointment at Papilio. You get the whole store to yourself, and the undivided attention of a dedicated and patient consultant. The actual collection is incredibly large, but not every model is available in the Toronto store; it doesn't matter, since their selection is impressive and covers all silhouettes, styles, and I assume, budgets. Designs are brilliant, prices are great, and quality is spectacular If you're looking for a unique, flattering and gorgeous look, it's the place.
