Refugee claimants are judged according to the United Nations Convention on Refugees. In 2015, Canada introduced the Express Entry system, an entirely online process for immigration applications. Those who qualify for permanent residence in several classes (including skilled worker, Canada experience, skilled trade, among others) must use the Express Entry online portal. This system ranks applicants based on a range of criteria such as age, education, language ability, work experience, to a maximum score of 1,200 points.
Visitor visas are required for many individuals travelling to Canada for a temporary period of time. The standard length of such a visa is six months. Mr. Jurmain and Danielle were absolutely wonderful with helping me get my Permanent Residency here in Canada. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend Mr. Jurmain if you are looking to get your PR as well. I will note that it is a bit of work on your end as well (acquiring paperwork and personal information) but they guide you through it all. The good things in life don't come easy but it was so worth it in the end! Again, I definitely recommend Mr. Jurmain if you are looking to immigrate to Canada.

I got Jonathon Jurmain’s services contracted through Legal Aid over a year ago to help me with making a refugee claim in Canada after having troubles with it due to my previous social worker giving me incorrect information. So I already had a bad experience with someone in power prior to coming to Jurmain Law. Anyways he was supposed to help me with my refugee claim and basically after getting paid through Legal Aid and receiving all of my information did not continue any contact with me. I even inquired about other services during this time but after he told me his rates he never contacted to

I have just begun my process of becoming a duel citizen and called to ask a couple of questions. I was thankful when the receptionist was open to answering a few (many offices are NOT) and thrilled that Mr. Jurmain himself got on the phone and answered my deeper questions. What a class act! As soon as I get everything else in order (per his recommendations) I will be back to use this office. Personal service and being treated with respect is essential... and Jurmain's office has it!!!

The only experience I had with Mr. Jurmain are two phone calls I made to his office. As a complete stranger to him I was put through immediately, the second time even when he was just on his way out of the office. He was courteous, compassionate and helpful with his advice, never making me feel I was wasting his time. He will be first on my list when I need a lawyer.
