Owner Rony Sabbag started his jewellery career as a wholesaler in Toronto's jewellery district in the early 1980's, and after travelling all across Ontario, he finally settled down with his family and opened his own jewellery store in Hamilton.As an accomplished goldsmith, gemologist, and jewellery professional, Rony has brought his unique flare for the industry directly to the public.

Rony Sabbag and his Son Eric are both gemologists and accredited jewellery professionals qualified to appraise all kinds of jewellery. Our appraisals are primarily done for insurance purposes, but we also offer unique appraisal services such as identifying diamonds and other unknown gemstones, as well as identifying different karats of gold.
Not only are diamond engagement rings our specialty, but it is also our passion. If there is one area where R & R Jewellers particularly excels, it's engagement rings. I bought a promise ring for my girlfriend at R&R and the experience was wonderful. Eric was extremely helpful and professional. I told him my budget and he gave me great options and did not try to pressure me into spending more like all of the other jewellers I visited in hamilton did. I’ll be buying the engagement ring there for sure!

Eric is the person whom I dealt with a month ago to convert my 9g, 24k yellow gold broken bangle to a frame for my new 24k gold bar. He asked for $350 as a labor and I agreed. I insisted that he use the whole 9 grams for the frame, and he agreed. I asked him if he will waste some of the gold, and he said no, I will not waste any thing from it. I asked him to stamp the frame, and he said of course we will. He made the frame using 6g only and he made the hook from 10k white gold!! he did not stamp the frame. I was mad and sad for the trust I gave him. I gave him $250 instead of $350 because he wasted

Purchased my wife's engagement ring and wedding band from RnR and it was the most pleasant experience. Both Eric and Adam offered the best service and advice and most importantly were very patient with me as I decided on what custom option be the best for my wife. She said YES and 2 years later we came back and purchased diamond earrings for our daughter. Can't wait for the next milestone! Within 3 months of getting my engagement ring, a diamond fell out. I went back and had to pay $110 to have it replaced even though it was bad craftsmanship that caused it. I thought that would be the end of it. Flash forward to now, the diamond has once again fallen out, only 5 months later. Please do not buy from here, it will only lead to disappointment. These people have zero passion and are all miserable. The son that sold me this ring is the only decent person there, he is patient and listens to the customer. I had a broken chain that needed a new claw. Or so I thought. Went into RR and showed the kind gentleman behind the counter my issue. He said no I can fix that. I said really? Ok,how much? He said $10. He wasn't more than 3 min and even cleaned it up for me. Both men were very kind. I will recommend this jeweler to anyone. 10/10

Have been shopping at Ron's off and on for maybe 28 years, never had a problem. Ron and his staff are very good at what they do. They never push expensive jewelry on you, the repairs are done well. My dog bite through the side of my ring while we were playing and destroyed the one side of the ring. Ron rebuilt the side back up and now you cant tell one side from the other. It was all scrolled so not an easy fix. Thanks Ron.

I've been to many stores in the area and R&R was definitely the best at helping me get exactly what I wanted within a quick timeframe. I was very happy with their custom design, and their customer service throughout the entire process was amazing.
