Special Occasion Licences (SOL) are available to event hosts who wish to provide temporary or infrequent liquor service at events such as family gatherings, private functions, community festivals and manufacturer tastings. You must purchase your liquor from a BC Liquor Store or another source approved by the Liquor Distribution Branch.

I was here at the event for my nephew's maiyan couple of days back everything was good in this venue. Food and Staff were awesome but there was one guy (i guess he was the owner or something) who was always by the Bar drinking non-stop and talking so loudly that the entire event was getting ruined. He looked like an alcoholic who wouldn't stop drinking and blabbering. We even tried to ask the security to kick the guy out or make him leave, but the security said he is unable to do anything as the guy is the owner. The entire event would have been awesome but because of that guy, the event was mostly

We have our annual Black Top Taxi Christmas party and it never disappoints. Elegant environment and great venue. My grand daughter has been to every celebration since she was still in the womb!

Lots of new renovations. Place looks really nice. The waiters are slow to serve the food. They seem to be holding back on the food to save money. This is something the owner need to correct. People are playing big sums of money to rent this hall.

Recently renovated. Capacity is around 800. Street parking only which is not great. Smoking area is covered and on the second floor. Stairs to venue feel steep. I'm not sure if they have an elevator for your grannies and such.

Reserved this place in January 2015- told us everything was set and booked months later. Came back recently to hear they gave our reservation away and that the event planner left the country. Got no call about this happening- until I got there. The website offers Western food but the owner will only give you Indian food and if you don't like it- they won't give you the venue. The helper or new event manager is a lady- has attitude and not accommodating at all. Did not help us in our situation. They told us we cancelled but we never called them saying our event was a no show. They told us our money
