Note: The website /Google my business hour are not accurate, remember to call them before heading there.
Note 2: for all the to go order, the staff put a little tape underneath the cake holder and box, so the cakes don't fly around while I'm carrying it! Love to the level of caring !
Saw the place has really good rating online, and I wasn't sure which ones are good good, so we ordered most of the less sweeten ones
Quality above the par:
Chocolat Velouté
Earl Grey Chocolat
Matcha Exotique
The "interesting" ones (too sweet for us )
Hojicha Cassis Chocolat
Pave melon..
The rest are okay

We walked in literally at closing time, and I contemplating ignorantly for a good five minutes before finally deciding on which cake I wanted. The worker politely told me that it would be to-go since they were closed already and I FELT SO BAD THAT I DIDN'T KNOW but they were soooo sweet and told me it wasn't a big deal. I literally walked in AT CLOSING TIME and they still accommodated me and didn't kick me out until I finally made up my mind! how sweet! You really don't get that kind of service anymore!
I ended up getting the Earl Grey Chocolat Cake for $7.75, and it blew.

This Hojicha Cassis Chocolat cake was probably one of my many favourites from @ganacheyaletown . I loved loved LOVED the layers of hojicha chocolate cake and cassis-lavender guimauve. The slight tartness of the blackberries balanced well with the sweetness. I know sharing is caring but....do I really have to? 😝

They had two fall specials for 2019 which one of them was the Chocolat Caramel Pecan and the other one was their Marron Cafe Chocolat. I'm so glad that they offered samples to try so we don't get disappointed. My bf sampled both of them which he said the Marron Cafe Chocolat was good but kinda mild in coffee flavor and there was a bit too much cream on top.
Chocolat Caramel Pecan: This was a caramel pecan cheesecake drizzled with dark chocolate sauce on top. This was heavenly! The cheesecake was creamy, smooth and cheesy. Within the cheesecake, there were bits of crushed up pecans and

Delicious, well-presented cakes made with much care.
Every dine-in experience, cake order and purchase - even the eleventh hour ones has been met with clear communication and alternatives presented and a positive, can-do attitude.
The Goyave Citron chiffon and Hojicha chocolate cakes are sooo delish! And of course they make tasty croissants.
Some might find the cakes a touch sweet, but the flavours!

We've been hearing great things about Ganache and considered using them for our wedding cake. After visiting the store and getting a quote (which was quite reasonable), we were directed to purchase a few different cakes to sample.
On the day we stopped by, we were able to sample a few of their summer cake flavors, but none of them really spoke to us, so we ended up trying the Blanc Frasier, Tiramisu Chocolat and Earl Grey Chocolat. I was really disappointed, considering the great reviews. While visually appealing, all of the cakes were dry. The thought of spending $500+ on a dry wedding cake

French food never disappoints me; this was almost not the exception. The patisserie itself is very nice and clean, modern, with lots of big posters of Bruce Lee fanfare on the walls. They have a big display case of their desserts, the standard single-serve-size pastries and cakes, everything from fruity mango or raspberry, to coconut, chocolate, and cheesecake. Oh the choices!
After much debate, I decided on the mango with chocolate for some after dinner delight. The flavors were definitely there, those expected luscious, robust, flavorful, but not sugary tastiness. Creamy texture, fluffy, and

I wanted to eat some quality western cakes and saw that this place has nice reviews so checked it out. It's tucked in a residential area and I almost missed the place without its sign outside. I was surprised that the place was empty on a weekend afternoon but afterwards a few customers dropped in. The cake display was enticing and there were plenty of choices! Everything looked quaint and delicious. I think the place could do with brighter lighting to make the setting even more inviting but no major complaints. My chocolate cake had the right amount of texture and density. I also appreciate

My go-to dessert shop. Quality is great and consistent every time. Prices have gone up over the years but it's worth it. Just by looking at each layer of the cakes, you can tell how much effort was needed. The all-time favourite from here is the Blanc Fraisierr, everyone always has high reviews about this. The tiramisu is perfect and their chocolate ones are indeed very rich. Can't go wrong with anything that you order.
Their packaging is nice. If you order a cake, they'll dress up the top for you with extra chocolate and a message.

The little cakes are delicious! We tried 4: matcha exotique, mango passion chocolat, coco velours rouge, and cube au chocolat cafe. All around $7.25-7.95, a bit pricey but not the worst.
My fave was the coco velours rouge (red velvet) and my boyfriend liked the mango passion chocolat the most. Service was good and came in a nice box and bag to carry out.
If it looks like they're out of something, ask someone if there's more in the back.

This is one of my favourite places for dessert. I have tried quite a few desserts. It is a nice cozy place for coffee too.
The prices are similar to other dessert spots. It is the best dessert place in yaletown. They have great options for both coffee and desserts.
I highly recommend this place to all you dessert lovers!

Love this place. We came here for dessert after lunch. The store wasn’t busy at all. Only one employee helping the customers while I saw two chefs go in and out of their kitchen. The side road parking was alright since the streets were not busy. Took some time to decide which cakes to try because there’s way too many options. Decided to get the cube chocolate cake and pavlova passion fruit cake to go along with a cup of latte! Will definitely go back here again.

We were going for a stroll and decided to come in for some cake and coffee. The place looked very nice and the cakes looked delicious. Walked in and my friends said hi to the female worker and she had no expression and walked into the back. We waited and looked around to see what kind of cake we wanted and my friend used the bathroom and still no… one came out to serve us. Finally she came out but not to serve us but started washing something (8 minutes later, no not exaggerated). I told my friend that this is unacceptable so we started leaving. As I left I said "thank you for no service

I came here on a Thursday evening before closing and their display fridge was fully stocked. I wanted to get a cake for my mom's birthday so I purchased three mini cakes, the matcha exotique, passion et chocolate and goyave citron mandarin to go. Each cake had unique flavours and were interesting ideas, but all the cake seemed a day old or something. The gelée was so disgusting, it was dry and stuck to my mouth! So frustrating, I will not be returning here. Too sketched out by quality of freshness.

This patisserie came highly recommended but, in all honesty, I left here disappointed. Granted, I didn't have any of the cakes here, and perhaps the cakes are phenomenal. I'm not sure. But based on the items we DID have, and the overall experience of doing business here, this place, although cute, didn't live up to its hype. Not even close.
I was told this shop had the best croissants in town. We ordered one, and yes, it was good, but not the best Vancouver has to offer. Beaucoup bakery in Kits has fluffier croissants, more buttery and delicate, with a thin, crunchy outer layer

Our wedding was on Saturday, August 5, 2017 & we used Ganache Patisserie for our wedding cake. Wow, what a cake! Not only was it beautifully decorated but the taste was to die for! Our guests raved about it too. Thanks Ganache & specifically Peter Fong for making our day special.

I have been here before. I came back here for desserts. I ordered a 3" chocolate cake (sorry I forgot the French name or whatever that was). It had many layers of chocolates and the texture of each layer was different. It was a master piece!
They have increased the prices overall. But their quality still remains the same which is great!
Some customers come here for desserts eating in. Some ordered a 6" or 8" cake. It was $50 each. Cakes here are of course more high end than other bakeries or pastry shops.

So last time I said I wanted to try their croissants, and I did! They're by faaaaaaaar the best croissants in Vancouver and actually I don't recall having a better croissant when I was in the East Coast.
Service: 5 stars
I was a bit disappointed when I first arrived because the croissants from the window shelf all looked overcooked to me. So I asked the French waiter, without much hope, if they might have less cooked croissants in the back. Contrary to other famous places in Vancouver, he agreed to check and all that with a big smile. He actually brought a tray of fresh baked croissants

Company event and we ordered cakes and macarons from this place. The macarons are very tiny but they are good. Pretty standard. Nothing too special. In terms of the cake they are nothing special either. We were laughing about the fancy names they got to make it so french so they can charge more. The cake didn't stand out too much. Its nice and light that is for sure. Nothing seems to be dense.
They have nut free options and gluten free options as well.
I don't think I will make a special trip to this place.
