I started Josh Bowie Photography in 2006, primarily as a wedding photographer. The 3rd wedding I photographed was featured in Real Weddings Magazine as a 3-page spread. It was an honour to be recognized so early in my career and it reaffirmed that I was in the right profession. I have spent my time since then fine-tuning my craft in order to take magazine-worthy images for every client.
Hiring a wedding photographer is an important decision. Through my 10 years of experience documenting weddings, I have developed and honed my skills to ensure that I capture and deliver the highest quality photographs. When a couple hires me to be their photographer they are receiving a commitment and a dedication to document their wedding and tell their unique story.
I guarantee your images will be professionally edited and delivered within 4 weeks of your event or portrait session. I individually retouch each image with my signature style, ensuring the highest quality photos. You will receive an online gallery and a high resolution copy of each photo. Josh did an amazing job with our photos. He really shone in his ability to capture the spontaneous moments of our occasion; these candid shots are some of our favourites. Josh made us feel comfortable as we posed, and he managed to eke out and capture smiles from the children in our group. On the business end, Josh was easy to communicate with and the turnaround for viewing our photos was swift. We were truly amazed by the images he'd caught. We had Josh as our wedding photographer and absolutely loved him! It was by far our best wedding investment. His shots captured every moment of our special day - from the standard formal shots to the more candid ones - they all turned out beautifully.

We chose Josh to photograph our wedding and quickly learned what a great decision we had made. Josh was extremely professional and when we met with him we felt an ease right away - as if we had known each other for years. He understood what we were looking for and was very receptive to hearing our ideas about the wedding day. We could not have been happier with every aspect of having Josh as our wedding photographer. He was incredibly professional, thoughtful, and captured our wedding perfectly. He made sure every moment was captured, even staying a bit beyond what we discussed to make sure he captured our first dance. When our photos were lost in the mail he personally delivered them to us. Every aspect of working Josh was enjoyable; he's a really nice guy that takes incredible photographs and goes above and beyond what you would expect.
