In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. Salmon and Sons Funeral Home is able to provide a wide range of funeral services and serves all faiths. Every family has different needs and Salmon and Sons Funeral Home is able to accommodate to reach your specific needs. We also now offer "Green Burials". A Green Burial involves burying the body without embalming, allowing the body to return to nature in a natural state.
Max was born in Williams Lake British Columbia, and raised in Raymond Alberta. While attending Lethbridge Community College, Max started working in the Funeral Business. He then completed his apprenticeship in Calgary where he received his Funeral Directing Diploma through Cy Foster Funeral Services.
After months of renovation and construction, Max Salmon and his son Nicholas have opened a new funeral chapel for Lethbridge-area families. Located at the entranceway to the Lethbridge Airport, the Salmon and Sons chapel offers a full range of services. As a family business, it offers many years of experience helping southern Albertans as they face a difficult time.

Streaming service does NOT work. Very disappointing for so many family members that could not travel or be in person for such an important day. Unable to watch in real time, nor in a “rewind” attempt. Constant buffering and skipping. All other aspects in person were good I’m sure. Just unfortunate for a moment that you can’t get back.

Salmon & Sons provided a very worry free experience during a stressful time. Everything was explained thoroughly to help us make the best decisions, we never felt that we were pressured into making hurried decisions or buy something we didn't need.
Nick was very easy to deal with and was able to accommodate our requests with no hesitations as well as provide advice from his experiences.

We are taking this opportunity to recognize and thank Nicolas and Max Salmon. Over the past three years we have had occasion to engage their services for three different funerals. In each instance they went over and above our expectations to help our family through difficult times. Repeatedly they were innovative to help with special requests, were willing to accommodate regardless of the circumstance, and above above all, rendered these services with a high degree of professionalism and empathy. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Nicholas and his Father were to us as we prepared for our Mother's service. They were so accommodating to our every wish and made this experience one that we look back on with fondness and gratitude. Every detail was taken care of so kindly and carefully. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a beautiful, peaceful and well run funeral service.

Even though it was an extremely difficult time for our family, our experience at Salmon and Sons Funeral Home was extraordinary. I am so thankful that we chose Salmon and Sons to assist our family in planning the cremation and funeral for my sister, Donna Voth.
