Cornerstone Funeral Home Ltd., open in the fall of 1995, was the first funeral home in southern Alberta to have all amenities under one roof. As a way of acknowledging the loved one's anniversary and giving back to the community, Cornerstone offers complimentary Memorial Doves to all families that have lost a loved one.

Travis & staff are the best when you lose a loved one. Cornerstone is the funeral home we go to in the past & will be in the future. They have looked after our moms & dads & friends. Anything you want or need is taken care of with such grace & understanding. There is no other funeral home in Lethbridge as far as our family is concerned.

Now that restrictions are lifted, I am excited to book a tour for my College class again. Cornerstone, specifically Travis and Trish have volunteered their time each year to tour Therapeutic Recreation - Gerontology students and speak to them on the topic of death and dying. The knowledge and compassion they demonstrate with students helps makes this topic of dying less overwhelming. It is important for students, many just a couple years out of high school, to begin to develop their personal and professional views about death. Travis and Trish don't just provide students with knowledge of the funeral

In the last couple of months I had to cremate and put my Mother to rest.
In what was the darkest time of my life, Cornerstone Funeral Home guided and comforted me in countless ways.
Professional from the start they shouldered much of the initial burden, and the aftercare was also amazing due to myself not knowing what steps to take...Cornerstone guided me with a plan to deal with the aftermath of a deceased family member. I was alone, and they were the only light at the end of the tunnel for me.

Loosing someone is the hardest thing people go through, the staff at cornerstone are amazing. Everyone’s experience is different but I can say they were professional and caring. Made me smile at a time when I didn’t think I could. They made the process smooth and they were so compassionate. Thank you cornerstone for your wonderful work.

My family cannot say enough good things about our experience with Cornerstone. When we had to say farewell to my brother, Travis and the staff dealt with us with such professionalism, patience and kindness.
