The heart of our business is our studio. It is comprised of local craftspeople whose passion is creating unique engagement rings, wedding bands and other jewellery.
By working with Era Design Vancouver, you are contributing economically to our community and helping to enrich and preserve local artisanal knowledge and skills. We work in small batches and hand finish pieces as demand requires. As a result, we do sell out of items, but rest assured we always catch up and have them available as soon as possible.

Era Design made a custom ring for me, based off a design they had in the store. It is BEAUTIFUL. It's well made and absolutely immaculate, zero flaws or imperfections. Had a wonderful experience at Era Design today! After following ED on Instagram all the way from Nova Scotia, it was so great to actually walk into the store. My husband took me shopping for a 25th anniversary gift today. The owner/designer herself and her new staff member were very helpful and informative. I left with a beautiful Montana sapphire and Canadian diamond ring.

The folks at Era are the best! They helped me over countless consultations to get my new engagement ring to fit perfectly - quite a feat because my fingers are actually quite difficult to size! Rosemary and her team are awesome! Super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly every step of the way. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of jewelry, I was unsure about the type of rings that I wanted for my fiancé and I, but Rosemary designed an engagement ring and wedding band that are more beautiful and unique than anything I could have hoped for! Though their new rings look lovely, and many seem to have had good experiences, mine was anything but positive. I brought my antique engagement ring, which I loved, in to be checked and have a small stone… re-set. After keeping it for a week, Era told me that my ring needed so much work it would need to be totally taken apart and would look nothing like itself when finished, and that I should just return it to where my fiancé had bought it and get something else. I LOVE Era Designs. I love the vintage jewelry and the original designs. My husband bought my engagement ring there and after purchase we had it appraised by an independent appraiser. The ring was valued at 2.5 x more than what we paid for it!

I am so appreciative of all the staff at era design; not only do they design and create amazing ethically sourced diamond rings, they offer insanely good customer service. I don't know about the rest of the staff, but Rosemary was great. My boyfriend had a pendant custom made for me, and I wanted to add an engraving to make it look more ornate. Rosemary spend a tone of time drawing out the design I had come up with to make it fit on the pendant. I think you need to go in having a good idea of what you want, I had a good experience and LOVE the piece they created for me, it's very unique and pretty. They ordered the stones I wanted and combined it with the design I asked for in a way that exceeded my expectations!

Rosemary is a fantastic artist and really helped me through the whole process of designing and creating a gorgeous engagement ring based on a vague idea of a design I had. We were so impressed with the result that we had her design a complementary wedding band. Both pieces make a unique and individual statement. She was very patient assisting me select a beautiful Canadian diamond too.
Unfortunately the process was slower than I hoped, but the results were worth it. Also, the men's wedding band we designed looked great at the time, but hasn't stood the test of time as well. I guess

This place came recommended from a friend who got his wedding bands custom made here and I visited them a couple times to look at the rings they had. The ladies here were incredibly helpful and patient. I felt very welcomed and the women who helped me, explained a lot about the rings that were on display.

I was very hopeful to have my engagement ring designed here. I already had a center stone to work with so I emailed ahead of time and I knew that they may or may not be willing to work with my stone as they have a policy about not working with stones purchased online. However they asked me to bring the stone and relevant documentation into the store to review and so I did. I could not believe how rudely they treated me in store. I'm not sure what the official roles of the two women I dealt with were, the one working at the counter was at least courteous, but the (owner/designer?) was demeaning

The staff person that 'helped' was arrogant, impatient, and impolite. The store had a paltry selection to choose from and the reception upon entering the shop was frosty at best. We had reasonable questions and the answers provided made us wish we never asked. We were also interrupted at least 3x.

Anything that could go wrong did go wrong. I chose this place to make my wife's engagement ring, but because of all the hassles leading up to getting the ring sorted we went to MJ Jewellers to get our wedding bands (no issue and fabulous service there). In the end the engagement ring was redone 3 times and my wife received it one month after our wedding, then took it to MJ's to be sized properly.
Issues ranged from chipping the diamond, making the ring out of a material they were told my wife was allergic to, being accused of not telling them of the allergy, rude service on a separate

While shopping for engagement rings, we went to Birks, we went to Cartier, and while everything was beautiful, I never really fell in LOVE. Let's just say that I didn't know what i was looking for in an engagement ring until I walked through Era's doors.
