Yes, the receptionist at the evening time was not welcoming at all. We asked for the washroom key and she just replied that i don’t have it. Room was cold though clean. The bed side lamp was not working and i was not able to charge my phone. Called the front desk and she replied to use the other lamp.
Was talking to staff while checking us in.

This is a LOW BUDGET hotel. We stayed here for New Years because Whistler was sold out . Sadly, this hotel has been converted into a housing project where people can LIVE for weeks on end (spoke to a gentleman from the Squamish nation in the elevator who was currently residing here).
The front desk is non existent . For $240 a night, this is a total rip off. The rooms are cold and bare and the lobby is covered in hand written notes and pretty dirty.
We love hotels and local stays but this is low income housing (feel free to confirm this with front desk) and we will never return.

Staff was polite. There was no problem in checking in early. Rooms were spacious and had a fridge and microwave. Everything was very clean.
There is a small fitness, for which you have to make a reservation.
No breakfast (as advertized). You get 15% discount at the Cork and Craft Taphouse nextdoor.
Enough parking.

Pictures make this place a lot nicer than it is, but for $99/night, beds were comfy and spacious room. Great location, close to many shops/restaurants, 5 min to downtown Squamish.Definitely would be nice to update a few things, redo carpet in rooms..stain on ceilings and fix the patios so they are pleasant to hang out on.

The Hotel is clearly dated. On the positive side , the beds were comfortable. The shower head was at my chin. While sitting on the balcony with my wife, the manager let himself into the room and then walked out. I went to the door and asked him why he walked in , he said he was looking for the luggage cart. 🤦🏻♂️.How is that acceptable One night was just over $300.00 . Clearly a rip off.
