The check-in process is not ideal.
The water pressure for the bathroom sink is terrible, just a trickle of water from the cold tap.
One of the bathroom towels had mould stains on it.
Loads of noise outside from people leaving the nearby bar kept us awake.

Basic conference centre Hotel. I have stayed in many university conference centre hotels, this definitely is the cheapest most basic of them all. Loughborough, Nottingham and Warwick are the best.
Not impressed that check in is often closed, states open till 6, but arrived at 5 and it had shut. Had to phone security to get access. Does not really feel like a hotel as any out of hours issues either contact security or sort it yourself.
A premier Inn offers better comfort and breakfast.
Rooms are nice and clean. But you can hear noise from neighbouring rooms / the corridor
The location is very

Stairs only, rooms were on the second floor. Other than this it was nice and clean, very nice bed and bathroom. Tea, coffee and toiletries are always replenished.

Does the job. Walls can be thin (easy to hear neighbours talking) and the shower a bit weak but it's clean and comfortable and convient if you're working on campus.
