Avenue Studio has been a part of Kingston, Ontario and it's community since 2001. With a beautiful space for cutting/washing/styling and colouring clients hair, the hair salon is equipped with 4 styling chairs and 2 washing sinks! Lisa, Suzanne, and Nicole are all certified, licensed and trained under the talented Brian Donaldson.

Brian (owner/stylist) has over 41 years of experience in the hair dressing field and only hires those with the best skills and best potential to tend for his clients. Brian has done years of stage work for both mens and ladies hair pieces and can make any hair piece look natural! He was a colour technician and platform artist for Framesi Colour for 15 years and is still an educator for Great Lengths Canada!

Brian is absolutely the best there is!! He is the only stylist I go to who can handle my think hair and every time I go for a cut or colour, I leave feeling amazing!! Thank you Brian for being one in a million!!

I always look forward to my appointment with Suzanne and Brian. I chat with Lisa too even though I don’t know her, she doesn’t do my hair, but she includes me in the conversation. I am excited to hear Brian’s great ideas for my hair and can’t wait for my next appointment. Avenue Studio is a great environment and the staff is attentive to their clientele’s needs. I’ve had numerous compliments from people I don’t know on my hairstyles that Brian from Avenue Studio has created!

I might be biased😏 but Brian is the best!! The whole staff at Avenue Studio are welcoming, friendly and professional. Brian has been doing my hair for 31 years. He did all of our graduations, proms, weddings.. he knows his stuff! You won’t be disappointed in his skill level and professionalism.

This salon is great. Lisa and Brian are excellent stylists. We've been having our haircuts with Lisa for over 20 years. Her shampoo technique alone is like a massage at a spa. Honest, sincere and someone who loves their profession...this is avenue salon.

Have been going to Brian since he graduated. He gave my daughter and her daughter their first hair cuts. Brian and his staff are very personable and his prices are very reasonable. Very friendly and comfortable. Small salon and gives very personal attention to all your hair needs.

Brian is a fabulous hair dresser. I have been getting my hair cut there for a few years now. He also did my wife and her bridal parties hair this fall. Small and beautiful setting. Brian is a real professional. Prices for men range in the low $20 for women it is regularly priced I believe.
