Farrow Hicks Law is located in Upper Tantallon, a stone's throw from beautiful St. Margaret's Bay. We care about building a personal connection with our clients, so we can provide the most effective service possible. You will find our office at Nash Place, former home of the memorable George and Cora Nash who built the home in 1940.
Buying a home, especially for the first time, can be a daunting step. It's usually the biggest purchase a family will undertake. Our goal is to unwrap some of the mystery and confusion behind the process, making it as simple and painless as possible. Selling your home and moving can be stressful as well.
Are you purchasing an existing business? Whether large or small, you will need to know the legal issues related to the transaction. Should it be a share purchase or an asset purchase; how do you protect yourself in either transaction; what are the tax implications; what agreements need to be in place; what commercial contracts are involved; can existing franchise agreements or lease agreements be transferred?
Going through a separation or divorce is stressful and confusing, and dealing with all of the issues involved can seem overwhelming. Our team at Farrow Hicks Law strives to reduce your stress during such a difficult time. We emphasize negotiation and settlement to avoid the financial and emotional cost of taking a matter to court.
