The bright, naturally lit, fully equipped weight room provides a complete range of free weight or Cybex machine resisted training options. Our comprehensive cardio-video complex includes heart-rate interactive Precor treadmills, Precor elliptical trainers, Cybex arc trainers, Stairmaster Stepmills, Precor recumbent cycles, Precor upright cycles, Concept II rowers, and Jacob's Ladder.

In order to properly monitor our capacity, access to the gym and pool facilities is only available via the front door. Members wishing to use the pool can see a staff member to sign out a key at our front desk. Members should supply their own locks if you wish to secure your belongings during your workout.

Location & Hours Report

Immediately west of the glass elevator at ground level turn right and enter through double glass doors marked 83 Garry Lobby. Take a regular elevator car (not glass) to the 4th floor. Exit to the right then take your first left. Assiniboine Athletic Club glass entrance is on your right. Take parkade elevators (on your left) up to P3. Exit the vestibule to the parkade, immediately turn right and enter the fire stairwell.

I recommend Physiotherapy, the gym and the massage. Good people everywhere. They are very helpful and go over things with you to make sure you understand. Steph, Neil, you guys are great. And Lindsay is awesome too!!!

This has always been a great work out gym; the amenities are second only to the personable staff. Now, there is also the option of 2 hours of free parking available ... a godsend considering the dilemma of finding available parking spots in the area.

Have been a member since it opened in 89/90. The club is professionally managed by its manager Neil. Well maintained with staff eager to assist members with their needs. The access to Physiotherapy and Massage therapy are a bonus.

I have been going to the Assinboine athletic club for upwards of ten years and I have always been treated in a most professional way -- plus the fact you have one of the best Physiotherapists in Winnipeg immediately in the club proper can only make it better --- the club and Physiotherapy Works! made my rehabilitation from a pedestrian / car accident possible. I went from a brace to a cane to being able to skate once more because of the help and expert guidance I received from this caring organization.

Absolutely the cleanest gym, and friendliest staff that a Gym could have, I have been going here for almost a year and I appreciate the quality and the cleanliness of the gym.
To top it off, its incredibly cheap, and with your membership you have access to a pool, steamroom, a hot tub, and a track! not many gyms can compare to this!
