Antipasto is the traditional first course of a formal Italian meal. Typical ingredients of a traditional antipasto include cured meats, olives, peperoncini, mushrooms, anchovies, artichoke hearts, various cheeses, pickled meats, and vegetables in oil or vinegar. 1.Had to go to the restaurant to order takeout, they don’t pick up the phone and never call back.
2.Waited for more than 5 min to have someone to take the order. No social distance at the door, good luck avoiding omicron.
3.Order of bruschetta (burned), lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo took nearly 40min. Yap, they said 30min… no ready. Tipped well for the takeout didn’t help.
4.Kids (4-7 year-old) were going in and out of the kitchen. Humm… I wouldn’t have noticed if they’d bother to care having food ready as promised.

Hello everyone, felt like having some spaghetti and lasagna today and was looking for the Boston pizza across Ikea, but turns out it got demolished recently…?
Anyways, then I remembered seeing”That Place” right by My Greek! Yummmmm….

Ordered takeout: spaghetti meatballs 🍝 and lasagna!
The Good:
I found it to be quite flavourful, tasted fresh, good size portion for the spaghetti, but the lasagna seemed a little on the smaller size, regardless both items were very delicious!
The Bad:
Nothing at all, noticed the restaurant had around 50% dine

Our experience at That Place was almost 5 stars and I am sure if we would not have gone during the holidays it would have been. Great service and food, but unfortunately with restaurant space and set up the echo and noise level was almost unbearable. The restaurant has no sound dampening which in our case meant with only 4 other tables we could hardly hear each other across the table. I would still highly recommend this place!

My boyfriend had heard good things from a coworker about this place, so tonight we decided to try it out. Walked in and waited at the front door and not even a single staff member batted an eye at us. There was a server at the table right next to the front door, the least she could have done is acknowledged our presence and maybe said something like “hi, I will be with you in a moment”? As we stood there I noticed two staff members not wearing their masks (one lady with blonde hair had her mask down to her chin, and one kitchen staff member was not wearing a mask at all). Unimpressed. Ordered four different dishes. All seemed to be prepared and reheated. Dry chicken Alfredo. Dry shrimp Alfredo, shrimp had no suace on them and were over done. Spaghetti and meat balls was blah. Didn't even try the baked tortellini. I tipped well for take out. But the best tip I can give you is don't. Just don't. Very disappointing. And I live very close, so it's not like it sat for long. Owner was very nice. But I won't be back.

Three tables of 5 in our party. First table got served within 30 minutes. The rest waited another TWO HOURS. One person wanted their salad to be served with the main. No, she said, salads are first. So, better give us a free shot for the wait while we all have empty stomachs. Didn't even bring out any bread. They should have shut off the Skip etc until they could feed the only people in the restaurant. Not sure how they can run things when it was full capacity.

This family run place is excellent. We had the homemade pasta and seafood. It was loaded with scallops and served piping hot. Also had the thin crust pizza - just the right amount of toppings.
For a starter we had calamari, cooked perfect, not overdone. Only one suggestion order the tipping sauce warm. Our was served cold.

We had catering for 10ppl through That Place this year for a Christmas gathering with friends. Rob, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with, as were all the staff members I spoke to over the phone. The food was ready at the agreed pick up time, was delicious!, great portion sizes and all for a really good price!! *Totellini in a cream sauce, meat tomato sauce on penne, garlic bread, Caesar salad, and wings! Call for a quote!!* We haven't tried going to the restaurant yet for a meal, but we will definitely be going soon for their Tuesday Pasta night!!

I came here during for their Pizza Thursday promotion because it's located near my office and I was working late. $8 for a pizza, yes please! The service was a bit slow in the beginning, but that might be because the restaurant was full. The pizza was thin crust, delicious and very good value for $8.
We ordered the Tiramisu to finish off our meal, and that was a disappointment. It was pulled out of the fridge, and there was a puddle of espresso at the bottom that the cookies were sitting in making it very, very mushy. Next time, I will avoid the dessert and just stick to the pizza.

Went on a day when there was a deal for Pasta and was pretty excited (and hungry) to sit down and have a good meal. Prices were right, service and food was not. After choosing the meal we spent a long time waiting for food, which came out cold. They forgot one of the things that we ordered, drinks weren't refilled. Just bad all around. Not a fan.

I am going to be as honest as I can even though one of my buddies is friends with the owners/chef.
My friend introduced me to this place a few weeks back and at first I didn't even know this place existed. He ordered the caesar salad to start off with which was actually a really good salad..but to be honest to mess up a caesar salad would be pretty hard.
I ended up ordering the pulled pork pizza. It came out all in a weird shape and a little bit oily but the taste was pretty damn good. I also tried a bit of my friends four cheese gnocchi which was really good but I don't think I could

Had the baked Gnocchi, with gorgonzola cheese, it was amazing..!!
Definitely will be going back this week.
They have a special on Tuesday for 7.99 pasta.. and Thurdays 7.99 pizza, great DEAL!
Our service was great, friendly staff, prompt service.
Overall, really enjoyed this place, recommend it, and will be going back.
