It's not every day that I need to ask a lawyer to dig back into a six-year-old closed file to try to locate a single piece of paper that might (or might not) help a client with a matter arising in 2020. Used this law firm for a house purchase. Impossible to get answers, legal advice not provided and now over 6 months after closing, still having issues related to the purchase. It's been over 2 months and Rose-Lyne has yet to do anything to resolve these issues, not even bothering to answer emails.
It's not a small issue - according to the city of Ottawa tax office, I'm not the owner of my home that closed in November of last year. Fairly important to get that resolved yet Rose-Lyne has done nothing to rectify this in spite of numerous emails and follow ups.
Find another lawyer.
