We represent injured persons in all types of car accident claims, no matter the severity of the accident. Even where the damage resulting from the accident is minor, injuries can occur and deserving of compensation. ICBC often takes the position that "no damage = no injury". It is vital in such instances to obtain the appropriate medical documentation from the right professionals to prove the injuries that have resulted.
Auto accidents involving pedestrians can be complicated. In British Columbia, both pedestrians and motorists have duties to take care in sharing the road. There are scenarios where motorists can be held partially or entirely at fault for colliding with pedestrians even if the the collision occurs outside of a marked crosswalk.
Hit and run cases are more complex than ordinary car accident claims. In such cases, ICBC may take the position that the injured party fabricated the accident. The law in British Columbia is designed to reduce the amount of fraudulent hit and run cases by requiring that injured parties take "reasonable steps" to identify the other driver.

According to the law in this province, motor vehicles are required move to the left as a safe distance before attempting to pass. Unfortunately, accidents still occur and the issue becomes whether the motorist moved far enough before passing.

Nirwan Law represented me in my ICBC case. As my file was passed to Mr. Harpreet Nirwan from Silaw lawyers as they did not have the professional expertise to run a trial, Nirwan law forced me to settle with ICBC by wrongfully advising me that I would lose the case. During the entire settlement process, I provided and cooperated with all of ICBC’s requirements.
