He kept my original parts and installed 3rd party cheap parts, grossly overcharged. This dingy little outfit on the edge of town is a rip off. I do not trust their reviews either, even their web site looks clean unlike this crooked shop.

Went in for a brake job, I was quoted approx. $300, final bill was nearly $500 including a $190 labour charge for 1 hr work. Dropped the car off at 9, work was supposed to be finished by 12, but he didn't start until 12, then says he forgot to call, so I didn't get my car back until after 2. Then he tried to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I won't be back. Zero stars.

Mike the mechanic is exceptional. I was having issues with my car a few years back. I had taken it to a garage in Brantford where I was living at the time and they told me I needed a new engine and it would be several thousand or more to fix. I had the car brought to Mike's and it turned out to be a thermostat switch, rad flush, and we did an oil change. The cost was a less then 10% of what i was quoted. I have recommended Mike to all my friends including my Brantford accountant.
