Forest Grove Childcare Centre
Language - children will learn letters, sounds and eventually writing and reading small beginner's books. Sensorial - Montessori sensorial materials are designed to help children refine the tactile, visual and auditory senses. Practical life - helps children to learn to care for themselves, environment and each other.

Also they learn everyday life's self care activities. The curriculum is organized around the Maria Montessori designed materials that enable children to refine their tactile, visual and auditory senses. The programme is designed as a progressive Montessori module which also combines the traditional approach.
Services
Nature inspires and helps children with creative play, concentration, and to develop problem solving skills. Exploring, discovering and experiencing nature also helps children to boost their gross motor and fine motor skills.

Children will have the opportunities to learn through their senses by using their limitless imagination to engage with each other and to the natural materials available, to explore, discover and experience them in the process. We will also bring art material such as paint, collage, paper, pencils, etc to use them with the natural material for the childrens' expression and creativity.
In March the theme will be SPRING, the changing weather and the blooming flowers through books, songs, arts etc. In March, apart from learning about Spring and all the changes it brings we will be making art and craft for St Patrick's Day.

We will also continue with Fun Family Phonics program, covering the letters S, T, U, V. Please encourage your children to sing the weekly letter song- eg if the letter is 'A' say a 'A' says a apple on the tree says a, a, a.Every Wednesday will be show and tell; for show and tell we encourage children to bring objects that start with the sound of the week.

Daycare providers are loving and wonderful, the centre itself could use a bit a cosmetic update but for me it's convenient and close to home. Both my kids have attended and always come home with loads of artwork, they put on the most awesome Christmas show and do lots of outdoor activities. When they move into the older classroom to prepare for Kindergarten (think preschool), they start teaching them writing, the solar system etc... I also love how each month they have a theme that they cover and encourage parents to learn with their kids.

Truly blessed for the opportunity to be part of this daycare facility. All the teachers are very caring and put the safety of the children above all. This gave me the peace of mind to leave our little one in their care. Moreover, we were able to see our little own grow and develop because of the healthy environment created by the amazing FGCC team.

This is my daughter's first daycare in Vancouver, and the teacher is very nice. It would be better if the manager can make things more transparent.

My 2 year daughter was very lucky to be part of the FGCCC family! She loved it there, learnt lots of things, and she was always welcome with a big smile from the teachers who are very sweet with the kids! Their indoor playground is amazing, and their facility is always very clean and well organized. The communication between the daycare and parents was great, and I loved getting pictures of our little one during the day :) I strongly recommend this daycare!

My daughter attended FGCC from 1 to 4 years. She really enjoyed her time; the center felt like home to her. The staff (both infant/toddler and daycare montessori) are nice and caring.

So far everything has been great. Staff has been good, and our daughter is excited to see them every day. If it's nice outside they go outside which is great.

My son was just graduated from the centre. He enjoyed everyday here with loving and caring teachers, made his best friend in the first stage of life. As a parent I can't expect more. It is a prepared place for kids to grow, learn and play, amazing staff, strongly recommended to other parents in this area.

We had our child here for almost 2 years. Staff turn over very high. Like almost completely new staff every 2 months.. no introductions to new staff. Staff generally seems un happy everyday. Poor communication between staff. Trying to potty train a child here is impossible due to poor attention to the children. They barely go out side ,and the "patio" area is musty and the toys are dirty. Stay away from this daycare🏃‍♀️

Our 15 month old son has been going here for a while now and we really love it. The staff are very kind and caring with the children and great and communicating with parents. I was wary of the other negative reviews on here, but have had nothing but positive experiences.

I don't have good memory. The owner is impolite and selfish and she is unprofessional.
