Dr. Linda J Matsalla has been a Registered Psychologist since 1975 specializing in assessment and treatment of all ages and cultures. Experience working with school systems, Family and Queen's Bench court, child welfare services, Aboriginal services, hospitals and medical services. Assessments include Parenting Capacity and home assessments, Bilateral or Unilateral Custody assessments, for individual or court purposes.
Parent training including child attachment work is provided, as well as mediation and communication work with separated parents. Counselling with children in separated families is also often needed to help children deal with their confusing feelings. Unresolved fears and conflicts can lead to behavioural problems at home and school as well as social problems.
