Is it true that Lino goes each morning to the Ontario Food Terminal to hand select all fruits and vegetables?. No, it's only a rumour, as over the years our chefs have developed super quick knife skills. We take allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. Our state-of-the-art system catalogues the restriction and we work with you to determine proper substitutions.
Coming home after a long day at work with nothing to serve for dinner is a familiar scenario for many of us. This can lead to immediate panic, and usually has us turning to convenience foods that may be less than healthy. As the parent of a busy family myself, I know that getting healthy meals on the table can be a real challenge.

Really, really disappointing menu - lowest common denominator stuff. They won't accept any feedback as they "meet Canada's food guidelines" as if that is a measure of quality. Staff don't even seem to understand basic food science. When I requested my child not have food with refined sugar, he was given rice cakes 3x in one day as substitute - they won't provide anything else. Our last daycare used the company Real Food for Real Kids and I really miss them.

I cannot understand how anyone can give them the best prize for their food. They boast that their principle is zero waste :))) Wau !!! Day by day we throw away food that even the children in the daycare where I am a teacher cannot appreciate. Unfortunately, it is not my choice to change them. They are probably cheap. But the quality of the food is terrible !!!

My son attended day care that used Yummy Catering Service. I have a very picky eater but he loved the food served at day care (perhaps says something about my cooking skills). I want to point out that my son had a few allergies and food intolerances and they have great alternatives. He is now in JK and I am trying to keep up with the great meals he was served at day care.

THE WORST!
On choice of the snak, the taste, the quality of the bread and croissant that they provide.
The supervisor of the daycare center has already contacted this company more than 10 times, complaining about the quality of the food and snack yet nothing has changed.
They don’t even care! So disappointed with this company

They cater to my sons childcare centre and I am definitely not impressed. The food seems very underwhelming, processed and bland. I expected much more from a catering company that caters to children. But it seems like you guys are doing the bare minimum over at Yummy Catering. Since kids cannot write a review I’m here on behalf of my son to tell you guys to step up your game and expand your horizons and put more heart into your food. Think about who you’re serving and not the cheques that are coming in.

At my child’s daycare the cook is sick and for the past 2 weeks they have catered yummy for lunches and snacks.
The food is bad. Main meals are bland. Snacks are processed.
My kid hasn’t eaten lunch 3 days in a row and they had to give her bread and extra milk to keep her full.
Apparently many other kids aren’t eating it either.
The teachers say they’re not surprised - even to them the food doesn’t look or smell appetizing, so why would it to the kids.
Can’t wait for the cook to return.
