We recently used Santaguida Fine Foods for an event at our home. Joanna was very helpful in developing a menu that suited our needs. Sam and Sebastian came to our house to set-up and serve. They were punctual, polite, helpful and easy to work with. The food was great. We received a lot of positive feedback from our guests. We will definitely be using Santaguida Fine Foods for more events in the future.

I love their lattes! The staff are friendly. It is a small place so be prepared for some awkward shuffling around while you wait for your order/to pay. I had their chicken and mashed potatoes and it blew my mind! So good! I tried one of their panini's but found there wasn't enough meat. This place is really cool and I'm so glad it's here! I recommend you check it out :)

Great paninis, great place to stop after a bike ride and definitely a place to stop over to have some lattes.
I came across this place when catching up with a long time friend who worked just down the street and it felt very fitting to catch up and eat at this restaurant. Vibe was great, staff were very welcoming and the paninis were even better!
Definitely wished they were open at least one day on the weekend!

I recently visited Rapido on a sunny afternoon to do some work on my laptop but from somewhere that is NOT MY HOME. Staff are cheerful and friendly, I ended up getting a solid double americano for $3 and a GIGANTIC AND DELICIOUS peanut butter brownie for about $3.75, and settled myself on their SPACIOUS back patio, a rarity in the Annex/Dupont area.
Because Rapido's patio is set back BEHIND another business to the north, there is ample sun as well as shade and tons of umbrellas scattered around to hide under if needed. There is more patio space than inside space by far. You need to walk

Great place where to grab a quick bite but by no means, I would suggest ordering a cappuccino here. I have had countless cappuccinos all over the city and know how to distinguish a cappuccino from a coffee with hot milk, that's been topped off with a massive amount of foam.
The proportions were completely off, the milk was burnt and to put a cherry on top of this disaster, it was finished with taking a spoon and literally dumping the foam on top that more likely resembled snowy peaks of Mount Everest.

1. The space inside is super cool. Given its location on a rather drab stretch of Bathurst near DuPont, Rapido has a fun, inviting vibe.
2. Service is very good, approaching excellent.

I'm a big fan of Rapido. It has a wonderful, bright atmosphere. Most of the food is made or baked in house and is full of flavour. The pizza was so delicious, I adore their almond croissants (which are quite large as an added bonus) and chai lattes with homemade simple syrup.
Staff are always friendly and attentive. They can accommodate someone picking stuff up in a rush and provide excellent service for a lovely in house experience.

I was pretty surprised to see only one other review for Rapdio (from 2009 at that). It's a top notch cafe - the staff are friendly and accommodating, the baked goods are tasty and the rest of the food looks pretty magnificent. As for coffee, I've had both soy lattes and iced americanos there and both have been delicious. Bare brick walls, interesting art, a sunlight at the rear of store and a large front window that opens up make Rapido a pretty appealing place to sit and enjoy your order.

Great paninis, a well-made latte, but most of all, just a lovely vibe. The staff are also very friendly and are very welcoming.
Apparently, they also make their own olives here - they ship them in raw and then brine them themselves. They gave me a free sample and they were *great - much better than the ones at Loblaws etc.
