The concept has been very successful, bringing to Forest Hill Village and Toronto as a whole the real taste of what modern Middle Eastern food concept should be. Through our selection of sizzling meats, fresh salads, tasty appetizers, hearty mezzes and delicious fish we have been trying to entice our customers as well as submerge them in the mysticism of oriental food.

Ate inside once they opened up indoor dining again. Was given a single page menu instead of the usual one. Didn't like the fact that we couldn't order a small side salad with the main dish. It was always a part of the combo in the past. Could only order a salad separately and it only came in one size - LARGE. Food tasted as good as usual but didn't like the way it was offered now. Also, am not a fan of the renovations inside. It used to have a pleasant Mediterranean feel, to match the Greek food menu. Looks very generic now with plain paneling on the walls. Horrid ambience in my opinion. Will not

I have been a client of Mashu Mashu restaurant for many years. And I have noticed that lately, they started to change the menu and offering specials. My favorite item in the menu is the lamb burger, I never had a change to take a picture but I can guarantee one cannot go wrong. Today I tried the special Israeli couscous with seafood, I strongly advise everyone to try, it's incredibly tasty!

We ordered the two salmon skewer with basmati rice and lentil soup for two which were simply delicious and good value (all for $25). We had also ordered the babaganoush and fried eggplant which we took home, again delicious especially the fried eggplant dish. The atmosphere is clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly. We will go back to try their other dishes as well!
