Communication between customer and shop is poor at best. Information given by receptionist has been what can be described as guessing at best and waiting for a return call from a service advisor - well I’m still waiting.
Fortunately the the work performed by the shop has been good.

I took my vehicle in for warranty work in 2019. The dealer fixed the issue, but claimed it was not covered under my warranty, I disagreed, and was told that they would refund the work if I proved otherwise. I found the Canadian service bulletin for the issue (common issue across all GM vehicles) where GM corporate had extended coverage to include my vehicle under warranty (that was still in effect for several more years on my vehicle). Sent this in and was still told "no" I made several more attempts where I literally highlighted the lines in the service bulletin that showed it was covered, but

A shout out to Josh Frith (cell: 778-321-0701) and the auto mechanic team at Eagle Ridge GM. I bought a 12 year old diesel truck from there recently, and the pre-work the team did to make sure the truck was safe before sale was extensive and very well done. I was very impressed, having bought many used trucks and cars over the last 40 plus years. There were a couple of post sale matters that I thought needed attention and Josh was very responsive and made sure they were reviewed by the auto mechanic team at the dealership.
