My approach to counselling is premised on an unwavering confidence in the strengths and internal resources you bring to our collaboration - and your ability to access these strengths and resources in moving toward goals you identify for yourself. It is my core belief that 'the problem is the problem' - not the person.
We will have conversations in this vein, mining what's gone well - exceptions and unique outcomes, successes and changes - and talking about what will be different when you've achieved your goals. We will explore and co-construct a potentially new narrative or story of your individual experience - and the meaning you make of it.

Previous career interests have also encompassed advertising, marketing, editing, and public relations. I've provided counselling, assessments, supervision, and have conducted research as a psychologist.
Counselling is a mental health support that involves your meeting with (or talking with) a professional counsellor about personal concerns or issues that are getting in the way of your life, your relationships, or your overall wellbeing.
Counselling provides a safe, supportive and confidential place to explore the 'why' behind some behaviours or ways of thinking that may be holding you back, creating distress, or strong emotional reactions - and to talk about what's going on, and getting more perspective on what to do/how to respond.
