Terrible experience at this company. Ended up leaving frustrated after they made me fill out paperwork and told me they couldn’t insure or register me due to not being able find out the net weight of my vehicle. Requested that I get a weight certificate. I left frustrated and a friend referred me to Allwest. I left Allwest in under 20 mins and they had no problem finding the weight of my vehicle. On top of that the Berta jokes made me uncomfortable and I found them to be very unprofessional.

Terri is one of my favourite people! She's awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and knows her business. As a family we see her for all our vehicle insurance needs and have for years. Super happy with my experience with Brody at AC&D. He helped my organization overhaul our insurance and fill in some gaps that we didn't even know we had. He then encouraged me to get a second opinion from another broker. I did, and they all confirmed Brody was working hard to find the best underwriter and that it would be hard to do any better. Finally Brody worked through some last minute issues and got everything done...at 11pm over a long-weekend!

I was so bitter about my experience here. I purchased insurance from them for four years before I found out that they were charging me $1000 more than BCAA would. When I told the agent, she actually admitted "we can't compete with BCAA"
But its not even the overpricing. Its the recommendation for this company from a lawyer (who I used for residential conveyance because of their north shore location). I suspect information about my finances was divulged to his AC & D golf buddy which led to me being sweet-talked into a much higher insurance replacement rate for my modest 85
