After going a full year without a massage I decided to check out this beautiful spa as it was within walking distance to me and the photos of the environment which is important to me, were beautiful. It is small and quaint and very private. There is just one room and one table but its gorgeous and the ambience is on point. I have been to high end spas that have multiple rooms and further services available and while they were effective experiences I could always here the chatter and laughing of people in the halls or in the next room and it was very distracting. First time going to this spa. Went for a 90 minute massage. Booking was simple and they got back to me fast to confirm my appointment. Very clean and pretty spa inside. Massage was good. Hurt at times even though I asked for medium pressure, couldn't imagine hard pressure haha but I did enjoy it and I know that I had a lot of tension and knots in my back, probably why it was so tender. She was quick to adjust the pressure when I would ask which is always good. Wish they offered aromatic massages as well, I like smelling soothing oils etc when I am getting a massage. Found Pearl Spa through yelp and had a fantastic 90 minute massage last night.
BOOKING
Booking was very easy - I sent an e-mail and within an hour, Donna responded back to me with availabilities. I confirmed back a time via e-mail and even received a reminder e-mail 24 hours before my appointment.
LOCATION
It is right off of Bayly - note it's not located in the condo towers but rather next to them in the townhouses, street-facing. Parking is street parking - I had no problem finding a spot on a Tuesday evening but I can imagine it might be a challenge during the weekend.
