Forever painting and drawing, Lea-Ann knew from a young age her future lay in her creativity. Upon graduating from an art-focused high school, Lea-Ann continued her formal education at the Sheridan College of Crafts and Design, where she specialized in glass and textiles.
She went on to earn her diploma from the International Academy of Design and Merchandising, after which Lea-Ann trained with a couturier where she refined the characteristics that define her work - flawless execution and impeccable quality.Lea-Ann ultimately found her calling when she designed a wedding dress for her brother's fiance.

The gowns of our 2019 Aurora Borealis collection capture Lea-Ann's celestial inspiration via shimmering color, layers of texture, and a fairy-tale quality that stirs the spirit. To convey the vibe of these special gowns, we photographed them amidst the moody lighting of Windrift Hall, a historic venue in upstate NY.

This place deserves no less than 5 stars, truly phenomenal service and attention to detail. I am so happy I bought my dress from here, it was the best choice I could make. They made my dress in shop and measured to my size, all alterations were done in shop as well. Vanessa was so helpful and made sure everything was perfect and gave very helpful advice!
Highly recommend, they are worth the price and you support local Toronto design.

Not enough words to describe how amazing my experience was at Leaann Belter Bridal! Vanessa is incredible! From the moment I met her, I was confident that she and the team would make my dream dress into a reality. Vanessa was so detailed, patient and SO easy to work with. Even with the pandemic, I very much enjoyed the entire wedding process, and Vanessa is one of the reasons for that. I love that at LBB, they have the ability to customize designs. Vanessa was fantastic with her advice and taking the time to ask and answer questions. I can't wait to come back and get my wedding dress from this store. The materials, craftsmanship and service are incredible. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses and Vanessa helped me get over my nerves and made the experience enjoyable.
EDIT: I bought my wedding dress here for my very small ceremony, and had then had the neckline/top altered for my bigger reception 6 months later to change it up. The gown was gorgeous, perfectly fitted and I could not be happier with how it looked and the service

I absolutely love this boutique. All dresses are handmade in Toronto, they are timeless elegant pieces with the best fabric and textiles. The dresses are spectacular.. but even better than that are the staff, especially Vanessa. She helped me find my dress. Vanessa has the ability to use her creativity to bring your dream dress to life. She is so helpful, thoughtful, generous, and attentive to your preferences. I got my wedding dress from Lea-Ann Belter Bridal. I had the absolute best experience with them. The place is beautiful, and you get a full private experience to try on dresses. They have so many beautiful dresses it is impossible to not fall in love. Also, you can create your dream wedding dress with them.
Vanessa was patient and amazing. I did not feel rushed or pressured into buying. She made my wedding dress shopping experience fun and relaxing. I couldn’t have asked for a better dress shopping experience!

My experience with Lea-Ann Belter Bridal was fantastic! From my first visit (where I had absolutely no idea what I wanted) until my third when I finally made up my mind, Vanessa was patient, honest and incredibly helpful. Being able to pick and choose from all of the skirt/top options meant that I could finally get the fit I was looking for at other stores but couldn't seem to find. Vanessa though of every detail and was meticulous during the alterations appointments to ensure that I'd have the perfect fit. Dress perfection! The entire dress experience at Lea-Ann Belter was SO great and lots of fun and the end product was better than I could have imagined. Vanessa was so helpful, put my mind at ease, helped me pick the dress, what shoes to go with, and fitted it perfectly to me! Plus having the fittings and alterations at Lea-Ann Belter was so easy, especially since I live out of town, they totally fit to my scheduled visits to Toronto. I would definitely recommend !!
