Dr. Hafiz H. Walji founded Walji Eye Care Services Inc. after receiving his Honours Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Waterloo, a Masters of Sciences degree from the University of Toronto, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo.
He is one of the original pioneers of the design and use of Orthokeratology Treatment together with the late Dr. Charles May, Dr. Stuart Grant, Dr. Richard Wlodyga, Dr. Donald Harris, Dr. Ned Paige and Optician Nick Stoyan, among others in the early 1990's.

Routine eye exams are important, regardless of your age or physical health. During a complete eye exam, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.

Dr Walji is very thorough, and well worth the money. My wife, Daughter and I have been going to Dr Walji for 15 years and would never consider anyone else, let alone the cheap budget places. You only have one set of eyes so my advice is get the best care you can find, and Dr Walji provides this. Remember at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. He also makes selecting frames and enjoyable experiance and has quality fashionalbe and durable products in stock. I actually spent the money this trip and bought prescription sunglasses. My Mother and Father have also started going to Dr Walji now

A throwback experience!
With all the new franchised eye clinics, quick exams, fancy modern equipment it’s easy to forget the eye doctors who have decades of experience, using tried-and-trusted ‘old-school’ equipment.
My eye exam wiry Dr Walji took several hours but I greatly appreciate his attention to detail, clear explanations of the various examinations in order to provide me with my new eyes prescription..... which would likely not be quite so accurate done by franchised eye clinics.
Also a shoutout to Rhonda for not only booking my appointment within a day of my enquiry, but also

As first-time patients of Dr. Walji, I was extremely impressed by the service and care that my family and I received. Rhonda, his administrative assistant, was friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Walji was incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to get to know us. Each of our eye exams was comprehensive, incredibly thorough, and individualized according to our vision profiles. I have been a patient of Dr. Walji since 2001. My original visit in 2001 was to find an alternative to glasses because I was experiencing headaches and discomfort in my eyes because of my imbalanced prescription. My right eye was much weaker than my left eye, so you can imagine the constant tug of war and vertigo feeling I was experiencing. At the time, I was not a big fan of laser eye surgery because of the many possible complications. Dr. Walji patiently explained to me that Ortho-K was an alternative solution to eye glasses and it would rectify all the issues I was experiencing wearing glasses

I've been a patient of Dr. Walji for over 25 years. He is very thorough and professional during exams and check ups. My Ortho-K lenses have improved my eyesight tremendously, as I had very bad eyesight since I was a child. I don't even use my eyeglasses to see! I highly recommend Dr. Walji for your eye care needs.

I have been going to Dr. Hafiz H Walji for over 20 years. He is very thorough and his service is second to none as he takes the time to ensure your eyes are healthy and that your prescription is accurate. He is extremely personable, and really takes the time to get to know you and your vision needs. His office administrator, Rhonda, is a pleasure to speak to on the phone, and book appointments with. The quality of his eyewear and lenses far exceeds what you get at the eyewear stores in the mall. If you are looking for a new eye doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Hafiz H Walji.

Dr. Walji has been my Optometrist since 1997. I currently have two pairs of glasses from him, and I am an ortho-keratology patient. I started Ortho-K at a young age, and it improved my quality of life significantly. I have very poor vision, and Ortho-K not only improved my vision regression, but allowed me to function on a day-to-day basis without glasses or daytime lenses at 20/20 vision. Dr. Walji spends a lot of time with his patients, and you can tell he really cares!
