Waterview On The Bay Resort has turned the page, starting a new chapter of its story. We are "locals" who were proudly born and raised in Bruce County (Wiarton is Tammy's home town and Ken is from Kincardine). After being away from the area for 20 years, we thought it was time to return and take on this new adventure.
Waterview on the Bay Resort Motel has a room to suit everyone! For the couple looking for a romantic getaway there are our Delux - with king or queen-sized beds, en-suite jacuzzi tubs, private decks and fireplaces. For families there are rooms with queen or double beds and some have an additional double futon with either a private deck or a walkout near the pool.
In 2014, Waterview On The Bay Resort opened 5 brand new 2 & 3 bedroom "condo style" cottage rentals available for our guests! These brand new units are located a short walk to the beach, some very private and some face the water, and some have a hot tub on their private decks! All prices are based on 2 people per bed, ie 4 people in 2 bedrooms or 6 people in the 3 bedroom.
The Waterview on the Bay Resort property and facilities are located on 4 acres of waterfront property, over-looking beautiful Colpoy's Bay and the majestic cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment. Stroll from your room to our waterfront with 300 feet of private sandy beach, the pier and enjoy the pristine waters of Georgian Bay.
The Bruce Peninsula is a place of natural beauty. From Wiarton to Tobermory, Sauble Beach to Hope Bay - the Bruce Peninsula has something for everyone. Waterview on the Bay Resort is located on the shores of Georgian Bay, near Wiarton. Wiarton is famous for it's weather predicting groundhog - Wiarton Willie.

This place is a little gem in the heart of the Bruce Peninsula! We had such a lovely stay, will definitely be back for a longer one.
We stayed 2 nights here just after Labour Day which was perfect for us as a young couple as there were no kids around so it was nice and quiet. The nights during our stay were just starting to get crisp and cool which made having a private hot tub all the more wonderful!
The room was modest which was fine for us, also very clean. I suggest bringing some of your own groceries along with some plastic dishes/cutlery as there is a fridge in the room. I read in other

What a beauty!! I loved my stay at this gem of a resort only an hour away from Tobermory. We had plans for 3 nights & 4 days to visit places around, but once we arrived at Waterview, we really dint want to do anything but just enjoy at the property here. The staff is extremely courteous at this family run resort. I only wish they were around more often & interacted with the patrons more, but i understand it must be really busy to keep the show running so perfectly. I definitely am visiting again, perhaps for longer duration next time.

Enjoyed my stay at Waterview On The Bay. Lovely property, amazing private beach, heated pool, clean rooms. Feedback - Expedia details posted by Waterview was very unclear that the only shower was in the same room as our bed (in the living room!). The actual bathroom had no shower or bathtub. Not knowing this ahead of time could make a guests stay extremely uncomfortable depending on whom they are traveling with. Also this hotel doesn’t accept credit cards which I find extremely odd and also requires full payment before checking in. I used my credit card to reserve the spot on expedia and I would

Cute little motel. Nice and clean rooms. Has a beach front, and our room was facing the water for an amazing view!
The pool looked inviting, and well maintained. Unfortunately public health has not stopped by to give them the all clear to reopen.
When ever we go to Wiarton again, this is the place we will most definitely be staying

Our family stayed at waterview on The Bay a few times. The previous owners Evan and Dave were fantastic and the cottages were nice. Unfortunately we returned this summer 2017 to find new owners that were absolutely the most unwelcoming people I have ever met. I truly believe they were watching our every move. Every time we turned around, someone was chasing us on a golf cart about something. we are a nice family that caused no harm. We were treated like small children with a mean teacher.

This used to be our family's favourite place to go every Long weekend in the summer. The owners were very hands on and made sure that they interacted with the guests to make sure everyone had a great time. Sadly it has been taken over by new owners who are not as cordial and are very rude. I can't see myself staying here again. It is a sad thing really as I have been going to Wiarton for my 36 years of life as my Dad and his family were born there. I will have to find another place to stay.

A quiet property located on the lake. With a pool, hot tubs and plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied.
Clean, updated rooms with air conditioning. Free wifi. Pets are welcome. Bonfires and marshmallow roasts at night (weather permitting of course)
