Eastview Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy focuses on the restoration of movement and prevention of injury. It can be effective in treating a variety of conditions which occur throughout the lifespan. Physiotherapy continues to become increasingly common given that the senior portion of our population is growing. Jamie joined Eastview Physiotherapy to pursue her career as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Her goal as a health care professional is to provide clients with the tools and care needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle and restore proper function for everyday living. Jamie's commitment to her practice involves working with all areas of the body, including a special interest in the areas of soft tissue damage, TMJ dysfunction, and neck and back injury.
Services
Physiotherapy is an evidenced-based medical science concerned with the restoration of normal movement of the body. The mechanical functioning of the joints, muscles and surrounding structures as well as neurological control is considered. If you have been injured or have noticed the gradual onset of pain or an inability to perform normal tasks, our team of Physiotherapists are health care professionals that can assist you.
The Matheson FCE certification course is a proven system for our evaluation of an individual's capability as it relates to job demands. Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is an exercise-based program designed to promote central nervous system compensation for inner ear deficit. Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) is an effective treatment for chronic pain of neuropathic origin.
Some Extended Health Plans require a doctor's referral for you to be reimbursed. We recommend that you contact your employer or health plan insurance company. Clients that are not using an Extended Health Plan (paying out of pocket) do not require a doctor's referral. If you have been involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and require treatment for your injuries, you will need to contact your Auto Insurer.
The shoulder is a complicated area of the body and includes the humerus, scapula (shoulder blade) and clavicle (collar bone) as the bones. Then there are the multiple muscles that produce and control movement requiring a high degree of coordination. An injury to this part of the body is one of the most commonly seen at physiotherapy clinics and the rotator cuff is often involved.
At Eastview Physiotherapy, our therapists and support staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. They have years of experience evaluating and treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. We are aware of the advantages of immediate treatment and of minimizing the post injury inactive period.

I am very happy with my physiotherapy, concussion therapy and physio massage. I was in a bad car accident and suffered whip lash and a double concussion.
They explained everything step by step as to what was happening to me and how to get me better. They helped so much with my insurance and the paper work!
I highly recommend Eastview physiotherapy (Malcolm)
And massage (Jamie)
Thank you so much.

I have consulted with Andy for different physio needs - my knees and then my shoulder - and find him to be knowledgeable and very helpful and professional. Treatment is thorough and beneficial. And his jokes aren’t bad either!

Eastview Physiotherapy helped me so much after a major foot surgery I had years ago. Recently I needed to undergo physiotherapy again and I knew right away where to go!
The friendly staff make everyone feel comfortable. I feel they really listen to all of my concerns and answer any questions I have in a clear and understandable way. I highly recommend Eastview Physiotherapy to family and friends.

Knowledgeable physiotherapist, very informative and gives treatment plans of exercises and stretches to do in between visits. Seems genuinely interested in helping patients heel instead of telling clients they need to continually come for appointments.
