Lingan Golf Club was first established in 1895 at Victoria Park in Sydney. The golf club moved to a new site at Lingan Bay in 1909 and eventually found its current home in MacLean's Crossing in 1913. The original 9 hole layout was designed and constructed by Dominion, Nova Scotia native and Maritime Amateur Golf Champion Malcolm Martin.
In 1922, the famed golf course architect Stanley Thompson came to the area and redesigned the original 9 hole layout. The development of the second nine holes began in 1964 with C.E. (Robbie) Robinson as the architect. Lingan Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in existence in Canada with a strong history and tradition.

Services
Lingan has the distinction of offering its members the option to play at three different championship courses. Since this unique partnership began in 2009 and was updated in 2015, Lingan members have had the best of what golf has to offer. Each individual member at Lingan may decide for themselves if they would like the option to play at Bell Bay Golf Club or Seaview Golf and Country Club this season.
Lingan Golf Club and Flavor 19 will be pleased to customize a package that will meet all of your golf, business and social needs. Along with a variety of golf options, Lingan Golf Club is the ideal location for non-golf related functions as well. Our large main dining hall can accommodate up to 200 guests.
The cost is $40 plus HST to play in Ladies Day for the year. Please pay at the Golf Shop. This fee will go towards weekly prizes as well as other Ladies Division events throughout the season. Be on the tee box, ready to go, at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tee time (the golf shop is often ahead of schedule).
The Lingan Golf Shop carries a wide variety of golf related clothing and equipment from most of the top golf manufacturers including Callaway, Titleist, Footjoy, and Taylor Made, to name a few. If there is a product that you want and we do not carry it please let the Golf Shop Manager and Assistant Professional Skylar Erickson know and he will do his best to track it down.

In the past week I’ve had the Steak, Thai bowl and the Root Beer pulled pork sandwich and they were all killer good! The Flavour 19 crew have the formula down for great food for both golf and for fine dining. And for this particular review, they gave extra attention to my wife’s meal preferences and gave her a wonderful birthday experience.
Oh… yes, the golf part ;). Being a first time club member this year has been the best experience and continues to get better. Donnie and team make the place welcoming, personable and keep a very busy operation running quite smoothly. The atmosphere

Fantastic course with all of the amenities that any golfer would want. Excellent driving range and putting greens for practice. Fully stocked pro shop and great food at the clubhouse. Excellent value for your money and the staff are always friendly, professional and willing to help. I was looking to get a membership at one of the 3 courses near sydney but Lingan is the obvious choice. Absolutely incredible !
