We are a BCAA and Government Inspection approved facility.
Our goal is to build lasting relationships with our customers by providing a safe, comfortable and professional environment where your frustrations and vehicle needs can be attended to. We want everyone on the North Shore and beyond to know that we will always be here to work with you to fulfill your automotive needs.
John has been a technician (for longer than I'm allowed to say) and a business owner for over 40 years! He is a member of the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club offering up his personal time to fund raise and help others. You will find him in and out of the shop on a casual basis, a pleasure to talk to and he is always willing to help!
Brakes are arguably the most important system in our vehicles for safety and keeping them in good working order is one of our top priorities. Replacing brake linings, servicing calipers and machining rotors/drums are the basics of a good brake job however, to maintain the system as a whole their is much more to be considered.
While regular inspections of your vehicles systems are important the most common service required is your engine Oil & Filter change. Various service intervals do exist between manufacturers however, as a rule of thumb regular motor oil should be changed every 5,000km or three months and synthetic every 9,000km or 5 months.

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to DeRosa for several years. The service we generally go there for is oil changes. Best price on the North Shore. They provide excellent customer service. Your vehicle is always ready when they say it will be ready. They also give you a full detailed report with price quotes on other repairs your vehicle needs.

I have been confidently bringing my vehicle to DeRosa Automotive Services Ltd for ten years with every possible car issue. With my vehicle being an older model and needing repairs serious and minor, I feel reassured leaving it at DeRossa Automotive Services Ltd. Derosa is probably the most professional mechanic shop I’ve ever used. They are professional and prepared for almost anything you might need done to your car, which is so convenient! Also they don’t pressure you to do anything you don’t want to, they simply lay out what needs to be done, quote it for you and let you decide. Definitely reasonably priced and the best service!

I had a quote from another mechanic for $1100 to fix the leak but I took it here instead and they offered to take a look at the car first and see what it actually needed, then fix the problem afterwords. They checked it out and they fixed the problem for half the price. They also found other issues with my car that the previous mechanic did not and instead of fixing the problems and charging me, they made me aware of the issue and provided me with a quote to fix it in case I wanted it done in the future. DeRosa was awesome. They're always super friendly, very thorough, and very reasonably priced. When I was having issues with my vehicle, they quickly diagnosed problems that other mechanics couldn't figure out— and they gave me solid options for repairs. They also took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle. They aren't pushy, and there don't use pressure sales tactics— or try to upsell you on things you don't need. I really appreciated dealing with them.

Have always been very impressed with the service from DeRosa - they make the decision that leads to the cars’ optimal performance regardless of it that’s going to be lucrative for them (e.g. did a full diagnostic to find a major part needed to be replaced and they told us it will be faster and cheaper for us to just take the car directly to the dealership - and didn’t charge a penny for all the diagnostic work - dealership charged $150 for diagnostic, which is understandable but just shows how reasonable and generous DeRosa is comparatively.) The high quality of parts, good quality service

I’ve been going to DeRosa ever since moving to the west coast and I have to say they’ve never let me down. They’re well priced, honest, and I always feel well taken care of. As a young woman with no auto knowledge I also have never been talked down to when inquiring about my vehicle (which I’ve unfortunately had in the past). This will be my shop for years to come.
