I got the chicken on the rocks last night… sad to say it was the worst chicken on the rocks I had ever had… the rice had wayyyyyy too much turmeric in it all you could taste was turmeric, it was inedible… Like even if you tried to, it was disgusting. The garlic sauce was way too thick almost like a thick layer of ghee was slapped on-top of it , it’s not the kind of garlic sauce you put on chicken on the rocks. The only good thing about the food was the chicken… and it was ICE cold… LOL. Please if you are craving a chicken on the rocks avoid this place at all costs, it’s horrible horrible

We have been to ShawarmaRama several times and we will continue to return. The owner Khalid is very friendly and courteous. Service is always prompt. The chicken shish tawook is my favourite. Their fries are crispy and fresh. Garlic sauce is sooo tasty. They welcome all customers and do not discriminate so go get your shawarma and support this small business!

Went here with my pal near closing time. food was delicious and the service was so great ! would come here again - best food and generous portions on the chicken plate. I ordered another pita to go and they even kept it warm on the press while we ate and packaged it up for us on the way out. very kind. thank you!

Had chicken on rice. It was a big portion.
The white sauce was inedible. Like a melted floury cheese. The chicken was grisly, and the skin felt oily.
The rice had a nice colour but wasn't very flavourful.
The small side salad was drenched in either pickle juice or vinegar.
Washroom was out of service and it The smell was pretty gnarly.
Overall wasn't happy with the experience.
If I go again, I'd try a wrap.

Just happened to be in the area and came across this gem. Got the Monday special, which was a pretty sweet deal (2 chicken wraps for $11.50). The chicken shawarma tasted delicious and the ingredients seemed fresh. You def have to add the spicy onions, it had a nice kick to it and tasted soo good! Gotta come back here again and next time I have to try one of the plates. Would recommend!

This place has good quality shawarma wraps at decent price. They have specials everyday so make sure you call and ask what they have that day. The specials are posted right outside their door as well. Around $10 for a meal.
They have all your shawarma fixens including tabouleh, garlic sauce and hummus etc.
Probably the best shawarma in the area.

Came here based on reviews. Chicken shawarma was very good but not out of this world good. Low on meat compared what I am used to in Ottawa. On the positive side the place is incredibly clean and the freshness of the food is excellent. Why 4 stars? Easy, the falafels are 'next level'. The finest falafels I have ever had. The salad dressing was also excellent, not the typical bottled Italian salad dressing you get in most places. Falafelrama should be the name of this place.

I was always a big fan of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine and happen to come across this establishment in June 2018. I was very pleased with the customer service and a friendly atmosphere. The owner… and staff are always very courteous and welcoming. This is one of the few places of its kind to offer daily specials at very reasonable prices with generous portions. By far, this is one of the best shawarma places in Oakville.

This can be a short review since most of us know what items you can expect on a menu at a Shawarma place. It's located in what was likely a fast-food place previously, but the staff park on the former drive-thru so that people don't get confused. Side note: could that be the next frontier in Middle Eastern food: drive thru?

Chicken Shawarma Plate (with Salad, Rice OR Fries) was $10.99; the wrap on its own is $5.75 so it's pretty cheap eats! (Marginally cheaper than Paramount.) If you're not that hungry, the Plate can be easily shared among 2ppl.
All the elements on the Plate, including the Salad tasted fresh! Salad even had fried pita pieces on top for that extra crunch.
There are booths/seating to dine-in, but it seemed like more of a take-out place. WiFi apparently available, but you'll hafta ask for the password.

Decided to check this place out for lunch based on good reviews. They had 2 shish tawook wrap for $9.99 special so decided to go for it. Was told would take 15 minutes to have it ready. The size of the wraps is a bit small compared to other places, however it tasted good and the meat was tender. The place is clean, and it looks like they have a driveway for pickups although I haven't seen anyone use it. Anyways giving 3 stars because food was good but nothing particularly stands out.

In town on business in Oakville and as I usually do in new cities, I started my search for my checklist food spots. At the top of that list is usually a good Mediterranean spot. This place was fairly close to my hotel so i decided to check it out. After arriving, the location is very clean and the menu was very vast. This visit, I settled on the beef kabob plate with salad and rice as my side. The kabob was cooked fresh. Took about 15 minutes for it to be ready. Amazing shawarma wraps! Had the chicken and beef shawarma wraps. First time trying out this shawarma place...I HAVE TO try both the chi and beef. The chicken was really good, soft bread outside, yummy chi and fresh veggies on the inside. Same goes for the beef! The beef had a really authentic taste that is hard to find in shawarma places these days. The hot sauce seeped through the bread and was sooo good! Great food, great price!
