Ritorno has to be my all time favourite restaurant. We’ve only ever actually had take out because of the pandemic, but the food is consistently super delicious and hot. The portions are also excellent. My favourite on the menu is Nonna’s Lasagna (never had a better lasagna - ever). We also love the Roasted Pear and Sweet Potato Salad and their Linguine Alfredo with Chicken. I can not rave highly enough about how good their food is.
Looking forward to going into the restaurant and seeing the Nonna Wall in person soon!

Delicious food right up my alley. I've been here a few times and always satisfied with the quality of the food. Their pizzas and pasta are a must order! I'm a lover of rose pasta and they've got their rose perfect other items to try are their calamari, meatballs and caprese salad.

Visited this restaurant for some homemade Italian cuisine, and that’s exactly what we received. The homemade gnocchi we ordered tasted like clouds, and the Gorgonzola sauce was rich in flavour. If you’re looking to go somewhere wholesome and authentic, this is the place. Their customer service is outstanding; all staff was very friendly, and our server Sam was delightful! We will definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious. The entire group did not have alcohol and the waiter was aware of this so after we ordered our mains he came by and informed us that the sauce had alcohol and if we were okay with this or wanted a fresh sauce made. We were super impressed with their honesty! Highly recommend this restaurant

We went to Ritorno for the first time with my son. Everything fresh. A true sign of a real italian restaurant is that serves fresh made pasta. Food quality was very high. The packing is very good as well. You pay for quality and its worth it. Also staff are very friendly. Keep up the great quality. You will see us often.

My family and I had dinner at Ritorno last night and it did not disappoint!
This was the first time since the pandemic that we all dined in a restaurant together. It was truly fitting that we were in a family owned restaurant :)
It was a special occasion that we all gathered as we remembered my brother that passed away in the summer and it would've been his 51st birthday. The restaurant gifted me a very tasty ceasar as that was my brother's favourite drink.
I ordered the gnocchi with meat sauce and the pasta was so pillowy soft and the accompanying bolognese was delicious.

I ordered dinner from Ritorno last night.
I placed my order through Uber Eats as I was unable to go collect it myself.
I ordered the Penne Formaggio, Nonna’s 6 Layer Lasagna & Flourless Chocolate Cake. Everything was so tasty. We even got a few pieces of bread that my kids loved.
The portion sizes were great, the containers were filled. The food was hot and freshly made and everything smelled yummy.
I must say I was impressed with the portion size for the cake. When I placed the order I was a bit nervous about the size of the cake. But it was great!

If you’ve ever wanted to taste heaven on earth, then please try the Tiramisu!!! It’s the most deliciously soft, fluffy & fresh piece of amazing ness that I’ve tasted!!!
I can’t help myself but order these when having a nice evening at home! We’ve done ubereats due to the pandemic & I just cannot believe I didn’t discover this gem any earlier!
The cannolis are freshly made as well upon order. Desserts are just 10/10! The flourless chocolate cake is amazing as well!!

Had a great dinner here with friends before the lockdown in Oakville.
Waitress and other staff where very pleasant and all wore masks when serving us.

Everything was just delicious, fresh and plentiful. A must go to next time you make your way to Oakville.

My husband and I grabbed takeout for a date night from Ritorno and we were so pleasantly surprised. Covid has made date night tough this year and take out has become the norm but the food and packaging from Ritorno was definitely a little more elevated and felt like there was some care put into it which was really appreciated.
I had the bolognese and my husband had a spaghetti & meatballs, I think we both agreed the bolognese was better but both dishes were great.
We also grabbed the bruschetta appetizer which was my absolute favorite and I'm salivating a bit just thinking about it

Covid patio experience:
Hubby and I walked in without a reservation on a Thursday night. The patio is small and only has 6 tables, so do try to make a reservation. I believe they are opening the indoor dining rooms Fri. July 24. Before we were seated, we were told that we had to vacate our table by 7:00pm (gave us a little over an hour to eat). But despite this, the service was on the slow side (slow to take our table, slow to get the entree and tiramisu).
Our waiter had a mask on the whole time and there were bottles of hand sanitizer both at the front of the restaurant and in the bathroom.

Attended this premises for our wedding anniversary dinner. Our group of five really enjoyed our meals, including my two younger kids. I tried the gnocchi, which this premise is known for. Wow! The gnocchi was awesome and very filling, it melted in my mouth and as go as the reviews. My wife had the daily special, which involved a pasta dish made with sambuca and prawns. My older son had the veal parmigiana dinner, which was huge, and my two younger sons had the penne fettuccini. Everyone loved their meals. A very nice Italian restaurant that serves traditional Italian food. We celebrated our friends birthday here with a party of ten. The table was ready when we arrived. Our servers were friendly and quick to serve. We all started with a cocktail before dinner. The drinks were acceptable for most of us but the birthday girl did not like here martini and thought it was too weak. My manhattan was delicious. After hearing the specials we placed our orders. Love the atmosphere in this place!! It was the perfect date night for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the gnocchi and pizza. We've been here several times and it has never disappointed us. They have a sister restaurant in downtown Oakville (I forget the name) but between the two I would recommend Ritorno!

Went here for the first time on Sunday. I had heard great things and have always wanted to try it. I went with family for Father's Day, and it was a good choice. I rarely go for Italian as there are so many other cuisines that I enjoy and since I am quite the cook (and enjoy making fresh pasta and sauces from scratch), I tend to no go for Italian.
Being Father's Day, and my dad loving Italian food, we decided to give it a try.
The highlight, one of them, was the calamari. Many restaurants have it on the menu but few pull it off with perfection. Tender, fresh, light crispy coating

I'm not even one to write reviews, but I feel like people need to know this before walking into Ritorno- it's nothing shy of disgusting. I am Italian, have traveled to Italy and have eaten at MANY authentic Italian restaurants in the GTA, and Ritorno is by far the worst. If you want REAL Italian food- try Marcello's (located in Vaughan) or Cibo Wine Bar (several locations in Toronto).
My boyfriend ordered the Linguine Alfredo which was extremely undercooked. As we tried to tell the "Assistant Manager" the pasta was undercooked, she attempted to insult our intelligence

Excellent !!! Had the spaghetti and meatballs and let me tell you the meat balls were fantastic ! Also ordered the meat pizza and it was lovely , thin and perfect amount of toppings. Lastly ordered the Gorgonzola gnocchi and it was very tasty! I can't wait to go back and try more items. The only downfall is that they don't have high chairs for kids or booster seats , not sure why.. when it's a family restaurant.

Always love coming here for dinner! The Caprese salad is amazing, and the pitcher sangria is the best I've ever had. A favourite main is the classic Penne Bolognese, but all of their main dishes are to die for; their gnocchi is made fresh everyday by the owners grandma! The Nonna wall adds a nice warm community feel to the restaurant, and the owner herself often comes by the table to greet you! Just a great little Italian restaurant.

Wonderful family owned business! Everything here is fantastic from the moment you are greeted by the pleasant server and wait staff to the melt in your mouth Gnocchi and Calamari we enjoyed!
We just moved into the area and I think we found our regular spot! Need to bring a picture for the nonna wall next :)

Wow, wow, wow. Okay let's just get straight to the point, you need to come here for the Gnocchi alla vodka... now, seriously you're depriving yourself if you don't. Honestly had no clue that gnocchi could be like that. I always had associated it with being this thick sort of chewy heavy pasta. No, this gnocchi literally melts in your mouth it's absolutely incredible.
Now that we got past that, I called for a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday and they informed they do not do reservations for Saturday nights but they said I shouldn't have a problem getting seated
