With many years of experience as a chef, Che Moe specializes in grilled meats like souvlaki, kabob, kofta, and shawarma. Using the freshest ingredients prepared daily under the watchful eyes of Chef Moe, he takes great pride in ensuring and asserting quality and freshness in every dish he serves.
All Ontario Grade AAA meat and served with two sides, and we recommend at least one side rice. Two grilled skewers of lour house ground beef & lamb brisket with a secret recipe, served with grilled tomatoes. As a sales consultant covering half of Ontario I eat out always and my favourite food is middle eastern food. I had the pleasure of stopping by one day about 4 years ago as I recognized the name and I’ve been a huge fan of their food(Persian or not).
I consider the owner now a friend and an awesome person to talk to.
Definitely in top 2 favourite shawarmas I’ve ever had.
And as a Persian I would know a good Persian kabob when I see one 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We noticed there were multiple flies in our food. Also when we called this restaurant to complain, the owner made extremely unapologetic and rude remarks. We ended up filing a complaint to Uber eats and getting a full refund.
Also, before ordering any food from this restaurant, please take a moment to look at the blatantly racist remarks the owner has made in response to 1-star reviews. It’s mind blowing to me that racist and low-quality businesses like this one can still operate in Canada.

Per my friend’s recommendation, we tried Zagros kebab. I have to say there are better restaurants in the town especially sheherzad. Also the owner, gooza, was a total racist. He is probably going to display a healthy dose of racism in response to this review as well, as he has consistently been doing when receiving 1-star reviews.

I was so excited to have found this restaurant in Oakville, but I was disappointed when I received my food. I ordered "Bareh Kabab" with vegetables, "Vaziri Leg" with Persian Salad and Homemade chips with . The first thing you pay attention to when you open the package is the smell of the food and the quantity. Well, that was my first disappointment, because both Bareh and Koobideh didn't smell good at all. Also, Koobideh wasn't like any of the advertised pictures and it was only 6 pieces of meat in the package for Bareh Kebab. Vaziri leg tasted good and was cooked properly. Owner was rude but was then only nice to me when I mentioned I’m Persian. When he complained about people making orders and not picking up he said certain races are the worst in that regard.
As for the food, starting with the Mirza ghassemi. It was very salty and hard to eat. Too much turmeric and not authentic.
Ghormeh sabzi- was $17 for half a container. Bland and missing herbs
Barg- the website says tenderloin but it tasted like a veal cutlet, too thin, did not taste fresh
Koobideh- very thin. Normally it’s juicier and thicker. Seasoning felt off as well

If you like being let down, order from here. The place was unsanitary, and the staff were super unfriendly. I am shocked that they are so stingy here with zero care for customers! When they started making my order, beef shawarma, I saw that they were just reheating shawarma in old oil and a dirty frying pan. And once I took my first bite, I realized the beef was spoiled and tasted like it was 2-3 weeks old. The meat in my order was beef fat, not what I expected, and I had to stop eating because my jaw hurt!
